The jewel of the valley! This place Is the absolute best part of Holyoke. Hiking the range is always fun, can be challenging or leisurely depending on the trail you choose. The trails are maintained nicely and there is tons of natural wonders to observe. You can run into some really interesting people there, especially those hiking the Appalachian Trail.
If just keep your eyes and ears open, you will have the chance to see owls, bald eagles, hawks, bears, bob cats, rattle snakes and more! The views from the lookout points are some of the best around, especially for capturing the valley below.
Lovely place to take the dog for a hike! Ice-skating in the winter. It’s even nice just to cut through and take a ride up the mountain, from Route five up to the top of E. Hampton Rd. Mt. Tom has lots to do lots to see. Love to this place my whole life. You should visit if...

Regardless it is worth the effort because the views of the pioneer valley are pretty stunning...

I didn't entirely from the alltrails app and definitely recommend it I also got to see the old abandoned ski slope there is a few different viewpoints from up top of the mountain. Also you will see the memorial of the B-17 plane crash which I thought was pretty cool. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you have not already it will be one of your favorite hikes. It is...
