I went to the hospital, on 23 December 2020 to have blood drawn for my wife as I have many times before. My my wife has a chronic illness to which she has to have blood checked regularly and I've never had an issue. Unfortunately today I was serviced by the most unprofessional rude individual that I've ever had a displeasure of meeting in the medical field in my entire years of bringing my wife to this particular facility. I'm not sure if the young lady was having a bad day, had an issue over my wife's ethnicity or the fact that we were a biracial couple.. my wife had to have eight tubes of blood drawn each time she made sure that the exchange of tubes was painful, and the exchange was done as rudely and unprofessional as it could possibly be. To the point where my wife was almost in tears and it took everything I could do not to be rude and lose my temper on the young lady. Is this the type of employees we are now having treat patients with chronic illnesses and the epitome of employees that this establishment hires to represent this prestigious clinic? this makes me wonder if I should continue to bring my wife here or if I should seek her care in another place that will be more concerned and sensitive to the chronic illness that she has to deal with everyday while having to endure the unprofessionalism and lack of empathy of the employees that we had to face today. The careless of the whole process has left me wondering if the blood collected will be handled in the appropriate manner and not be tampered with or misplaced, coagulated or contaminated before it is no longer viable to be tested.

Read moreI thought that all Loyola Labs were the same, meaning that I never had to make an appointment to get Lab work. Well I showed up at Homer Glen and found out that was by appointment only. I went to the Maywood location a few days earlier to take my wife to the cancer center for her 3 month’s follow up. I decided to go to the lab to get blood work and urine samples. I only could get the blood work, there were no cups for the urine sample. Because I live in Joliet I thought it would make sense to go to Homer Glen. I really want to thank the young lady at the front desk for allowing me to get the test done anyway, although I didn’t have an appointment. This test was very important. I know now that Lab work at this location is by appointments only. Don’t know if I will ever go back there again, but at least I will give a 5 star. Thanks...
Read moreI went here for pelvic floor physical therapy and after my first appt I didn’t go back. I figured being a new pt the provider would have reviewed my chart since a Loyola physician referred me but she didn’t. She did a full exam but stated “so why are you here, I don’t think you really need therapy” she also stated my symptoms were in my head and came off pretty rude. I brushed it off and decided screw it I’ll schedule my next appts maybe next visit will be better. I waited 3 wks for this initial appt in February and when scheduling my next they were booked past may and asked me to go on a cancellation list. If I understand correctly you have to go to therapy pretty consistently not every other week or weeks apart. I figured to not waste my time and just go elsewhere....
