The staff was very pleasant when they were taking our money but then a very big problem. Our plan was to keep our stuff there for two months tops while waiting for my Mother to move into her apartment. Long story short, mold over took all of my belongings in the entire unit. After I noticed mold growing on everything I started to look around and it was obvious that there was roof damage at some point and water is getting in. I have over 200 pictures of all of my stuff that was Roland and this has heard numerous negative consequences as you could imagine our entire apartment was in that unit. We had purchased the insurance so I didnât think it would be a big deal since it was so obvious that it was negligence on their part. Now it is around three months after we put our stuff in there and went back the other day to take a video and they still have not even tried to clean up any of the mold. When my mom was on the phone and told the lady what had happened, she said that she just happened to have a unit right next to ours with no mold in it whatsoever implying that it was our fault. She was completely rude and even asked if we wanted to abandon the unit and they would auction it off! I could not believe it we were actually calling to see if I still had to pay the monthly fee being there all of my belongings were completely destroyed and by that I mean they are no longer usable everything is useless. Now after suffering numerous consequences because of this please, I am going to have to fight tooth and nail to get all of my stuff replaced. We are hard working people that are paying for a service and it has been an absolute nightmare. Even with the insurance that we purchased just in case something were to happen, you were basically repeatedly told that this was our fault. I took pictures of the entire unit down the hallway the length of about four or five units and the mold is growing on the ceiling the entire way. If I wouldâve seen this I wouldâve never put my stuff in there. I just wonder if the people hire up know how their customer service is treating people. I am not somebody thatâs out trying to get rich off of something. We simply just wanted our stuff to be replaced being that it was so obvious the mold had come from economy self storage and I did not remove the mold in there with my stuff. I hate even going on here and speaking negatively about someone or an entire company but I could not believe the way this woman treated us. We were asking what is our next step to take to get our things replaced and she was repeatedly saying do you want to abandon your unit and we will auction it off. I just couldnât believe my ears. If the problem gets solved I would be more than happy to come back on here and change this.    Read moreWe got off to a bad start. We were moving over Christmas weekend and had our loaded uhaul at the gates but my code wouldn't work. Tried calling the number and tried every option available multiple times but could not get a person on the phone. We unloaded everything onto my porch and put tarps over it. That Monday someone finally called me and explained she had been away and the call company should have answered and given me a code. Was still mad but she offered me a free month and pushed out my payment date. She also offered to reimburse for Uhaul but I already had Uhaul for moving that day it was not specifically rented to move to storage so that wouldn't of been fair. The month free was good enough for us. Everything was great then besides one time they were doing maintenance inside I guess on paving or something and our row of units was blocked off with cones and we were given no notice that our unit wouldn't be accessible. I hadn't seen anything yet. after a strong rain are SourceFed was flooded out and a lot of our belongings were ruined. not making very good very good month for us has since everything we pretty much owned was in the storage shed at the time. The lady at the front was a temporary fill-in as the manager was on vacation. she helped us get started on the paperwork for our insurance claim and help us finish out some pictures and things like that. when the actual manager came back from vacation she was right on top of itpicking up where the temporary manager had left off. within a week we had an approval from the insurance company and a check on the way. we were devastated in the beginning because we had lost a lot of important things. however they stepped up to the plate and made it right for us. thank you thank you thank...
