When we arrived it was great. We picked our fruits and a few mini squash and payed through Venmo after weighing them like the sign said we could. We even rounded up the prices to be more honest. Later, one of the employees(young black woman, maybe late 20's early 30's) yelled at us from accorss the way about how we didn't pay because we didn't wait in like and show her(no sign told us we had to do that, it just said there was an honor system and we could pay through Venmo), that she 'practically ran the place' and everything needed to go through her. And when we said we did pay and showed our proof of receipt, she still didn't calm down and kept being hostile. Eventually, she said she was just having a bad day. That is no excuse to treat your customers as criminals even after they showed proof of receipt. This experience made both me and my younger sibling cry. She, apparently, thought it was okay to yell at me because she thought I was an adult. I am indeed not an adult, but a teenager. There is no exuse to yell at any of your customers, adult or not. We will not be returning. We didn't even get our pumpkins because she yelled at us to leave. Awful customers service and incredibly rude...
Β Β Β Read moreWow! This place is magical! We came apple picking at the end of September. We ran into the owner of the farm while we were picking. He was so friendly. We asked him how to know if the apples were ready for picking. He assured us they were and said "if you aren't sure, pick 'em and try 'em!" He also told us some history of the farm. After we were done picking apples we went over to the winery and tried their cider and pizza. The cider was SO GOOD! Im not usually a cider fan (too sweet), but this cider was perfect. I wish I could find it bottled in PDX. The pizza was some of the best that I have ever had. We were able to place a to go order online while we were apple picking. That way we didn't have a 45 minute wait after we got a table. The views of Mt Hood from the winery are unbelievable! You can reserve some tables on Open Table and others are first come first serve. You can also grab a spot on the ground if you have a picnic blanket. They had live music the day...
Β Β Β Read moreI wouldβve never imagined a places like this existing. I love visiting farms on the west coast. They had peaches, pears, apples, and blueberries. My favorite were the blueberries. The apples were also deliciousβ taste very different from the stuff you find in grocery stores. Theyβre not overwhelmingly sweet and actually have that sour and subtly bitter taste that Apples are supposed to have. Some of the peaches I picked got a bruised color to them after a couple days and tasted off but I think they may have been overripe or not good picks. Picked a couple of pears but they werenβt the star of the show. Mt good was beautiful from the orchard. Staff are friendly and the price was literally nothing. I payed $7 for maybe 10 peaches, 10 apples, and a pound (maybe more) of blueberries. I would highly recommend coming here and exploring the large orchard, eating some yummy fresh fruit, and soaking in the...
