I am highly disappointed with my experience here. I went in to buy an SUV back in September and paid for it all upfront. I started noticing problems with it about a month later, but as I was pregnant and obviously busy with other things, I had to hold off getting it checked out. When I finally had the chance to get a diagnostic ran, I reached out to the dealership to see if they could help. The first gentleman that answered the phone said there was nothing they could do. He transferred me to a manager who also said they couldn't help so I told him I would be leaving a bad review. He then raised his voice at me so I hung up. He called back a couple minutes later, still obviously angry at me but said that if it's the timing chain they would be able to buy me replacement parts and that they should be there by the end of the week. He also said that once those are in I would have to sign a document (I assume releasing them from any liability for any other repairs that might need to be made). I never received a call saying the replacement piece came in and it's been over a month. I was really hoping they would work with me on this and I am saddened that I do not having a working vehicle for my newborn after paying $10k
Edit: I was never offered warranty during my purchase so that is inaccurate. As stated above, I just had a newborn baby and did not have time to get my vehicle checked out, as you would understand if you were a mother. When I called I clearly stated that the mechanic did not know if it wass the pistons or the timing chain and that is why I mentioned both. The manager was unwilling to help before I said I would be leaving a bad review. He did indeed raise his voice at me and I will not tolerate somebody yelling at me when I am simply trying to get help so of course I hung up. The only reason he offered to help was because I mentioned a bad review. Also like I already stated, there was no appointment made and I was waiting for a call saying the part was in. The lack of customer care is absolutely absurd and your response goes to show that you do not value...
Read morePLEASE PLEASE READ. Do not buy a car with Moving Rides. My husband and I purchased a used vehicle from them, test drove it (the car was perfectly fine and husband approved) and the next day we went to buy it. Initially they were very nice but didnât negotiate at all on price. We went to pick up my car and the speedometer wasnât working at all and we took the car back to moving rides the next day because they said they would fix the car since we literally just bought it, didnât even have the car for an hour. THEY HAD MY CAR FOR ALMOST A MONTH AND DIDNT FIX ANYTHING. Then they proceeded to CLOSE THEIR DEALERSHIP due to the virus and didnât think to let us know that our car was just sitting there, broken. We then had to call and text them a million times, refusing to answer my husbands number and literally only answered my phone number because they thought it was someone else. Luckily we were able to get my car from them and take it somewhere else to get fixed, and it ended up being that the part that Moving Rides ordered for my car wasnât even going to work!!! So we had to order a brand new part and it ended up costing us around $1300!!! Moving rides has since ignored us about covering our bill since they said, and I have texts that read, âWE WILL FIX YOUR CAR AND COVER COSTSâ we filed a complaint with the Texas Better Business Bureau and they did not respond to them either. Ever since we bought this car weâve literally had problem after problem!!! It needed 2 new glow plugs, new tires, & a whole new AC compressor, overall costing us about $2500 in extra expenses within the FIRST month of having this car. DO NOT buy a car from here, they obviously DO NOT DO THOROUGH INSPECTIONS OF THEIR VEHICLES AND WILL NOT HAGGLE ON PRICE AS WELL AS GIVE FALSE...
Read moreTerrible experience from moving rides. I bought a 2014 Mercedes Cla250 4matic and was first told my warranty was 8 months only to later find out it's was 6 months. The 2nd part was the car had the wrong battery on it it was an acid battery. So I had to spend $400 on the right battery. Even when I had the "warranty" and I had an issue literally 3 months into buying the car i had to pay $400 to get it repaired just for it to fail a few months later again. I had the car examined by an actual professional and the car has many issues on the engine and the parts. I now either have to pay over $2000 to get my car working again ot figure out another vehicle. I then told the employee but these issues and never got a call back from the owner. So sad and frustrated at the service they provide to their customers. Will never be buying a vehicle from moving rides and will be passing the message along to everyone I know that I previously referred them to moving rides. What started as an exciting purchase and a means to get to work turned into an absolute nightmare. Don't recommend getting a vehicle from here without getting an actual mechanic to fully inspect the vehicle...
