We stayed at one of their vacation rentals in Kingsland, TX, for Spring Break with a large group of about 25 people, and the entire experience was nothing short of amazing. The house was exactly as pictured—if not better—with plenty of space to accommodate our group comfortably. The infinity pool overlooking the lake was a huge hit, especially with the kids. The property was well-equipped with ample water toys, pool noodles, kayaks, and a paddleboard, along with both adult and kid-sized life vests.

The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including an abundance of K-Cups and creamers. The bar area had everything imaginable—mixers, shot glasses, and more. The laundry facilities were also well-equipped, making our stay even more convenient.

Initially, we had booked for a certain number of guests but later needed to add a couple more. Crystal and the team were incredibly accommodating and prompt, adjusting our reservation without any additional charges. The hospitality truly stood out.

One of the most impressive aspects was the impeccable cleanliness and maintenance. While we were there, we saw the thorough cleaning efforts at a neighboring property and immediately understood why these rentals are maintained at such a top-notch level.

We rented Cadillac on the Colorado in Kingsland, TX from Horseshoe Bay Living for a big family getaway for 11 people. Everyone, from teens to grandparents, had a wonderful time, & the house met all of our needs.

The few minor things that we encountered were addressed immediately by the team @ Horseshoe Bay Living — the internet was down due to a storm & they brought us a hotspot, the ice maker was broken & they had ice delivered 2x, there was only 1 kitchen towel & they had brand new towels delivered, the pool needed a cleaning after the rainstorm & they sent the pool service right away.

The Cadillac on the Colorado house has 5 bedrooms - Main floor: 1 master suite & 1 king bedroom & bath, Second floor: 2 king bedrooms with en suite baths & a bunk bed room with 3 bunks (6 total beds) with an ensuite bath. The rec room with a pool table & shuffleboard was fun one evening.

The house was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with everything we needed to cook multiple meals. (One suggestion for future guests: bring paper plates, ziploc bags, aluminum foil, & Tupperware. These items are not typically provided & help tremendously with clean up & leftovers.)

The pool, hot tub, & water slide were in perfect working order, and we spent a lot of time enjoying all 3. We chartered a boat & it picked us up right at our dock - very convenient. We loved our stay & will absolutely rent from Horseshoe Bay Living again...

I had a horrible experience with this company. I booked a 4-night stay through Vrbo in Marble Falls for my family of 4 for the April 8th eclipse almost a year ahead of time in May ’23 to beat the rush. I paid over $3000 at the time, signed all the paperwork, rental agreements, etc. A couple of months before the travel, I called them to confirm and was shocked to hear they had no record of my upcoming stay, despite my reservations continuing to show on Vrbo. Apparently, they no longer managed the property. But when they gave up the property and the booking, they didn’t transfer, inform me or refund any money!

After many emails and calls, they finally refunded my money with no apologies or anything extra to make up for the mistake. Now I was in a bad spot finding a place to stay for my family since all places were booked and prices greatly elevated due to the upcoming eclipse travel demand. I finally found alternatives that ended up costing a lot more, not to mention the inconvenience of searching and moving between places.

Finally, after our travel I got emails from these guys thanking me for our stay and asking for 5-star reviews (obviously we couldn’t say there). It was pouring salt on the wound after the extra expense and inconvenience they caused! Either they are completely incompetent and unprofessional, or they are involved in scams to make extra money, and whatever the case they should be avoided...
