Memorials By Cortland — Local services in Houston

Please do not order a headstone from this business. My brother’s headstone was installed six months after being paid in full. We understand that was the expected timeline, though we were hoping for sooner given the order was paid in full from day one. The problem is we did NOT receive updates without having to initiate communication first. We ALWAYS had to reach out to the contact person first to receive an update. The draft process was cumbersome because basic punctuation, spacing, and grammar was ignored. The final product does NOT reflect the final draft we approved. LET ME REPEAT THAT THE DRAFT WE APPROVED IS NOT WHAT WE RECEIVED. There is spacing and punctuation errors on my brother’s headstone. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE for a nearly $5k service. If you value good customer service and professionalism, please do not order from this business. I wish we would have kept looking and given our money to a business that values...
