I've been going here for about 1.5/2 years. I always have good service. All these people that complain about how the people are rude is crazy to me! I honestly can be rude a lot of the time (more so intentionally) and I would have definitely picked up on any rudeness! The one guy that did the review FOR HIS WIFE....really??? That's so weird. Yes, the place is run on a sign-in sheet, but that is how they have always done business. Clearly if your waiting for an hour plus, the service MUST be worth something. If his wife didn't like waiting for her eyebrows to get done there, she could have gone somewhere else. Most of their clientele have been repeat customers for years. They turn around and refer family and friends. I was referred by my friend who had been going there for over 10 years consistently! You get what you pay for! If you want over-priced, mediocre, generic, or basic nail service, then this isn't the place for you. The designs they do would probably cost you about $20 dollars more anywhere else. I tried going somewhere else that was "raved" about because it was WAAAYYY closer to my home...BIG MISTAKE!!! No kids are allowed is a great rule. The customer has to understand from a business owner's perspective. Children can get injured and then all of a sudden, the nail salon is the liable party. THEN, the girl saying her kids are good...MOST people with bad kids think they aren't...LOL But seriously, because you say your kids are good, they tell you "yes", but the lady before you has horrible kids (that she THINKS are good) and management told her "no"...see a problem here???? Having screaming rambunctious kids running around also takes away from the spa atmosphere that they are trying to achieve. VH is awesome...quick and efficient (if you go at the right time). It's worth the wait to me, and I am extremely impatient. I am ALWAYS getting compliments...
Read moreTried this place after a recommendation. Susan did as good a job as I would have done on myself, not great for a service I’m paying for. My color is uneven, ran into my cuticles and now 3 days later it’s starting to pull away and getting caught on everything. She didn’t file my nails evenly, the hand massage was as pitifully, the so-called back massage was brief beating on my back. The place smells terribly strong so that’s probably why they have the no children policy, I personally won’t go back just to avoid the fumes. To remove shellac they dip ur finger tips in bowl of acetate which is left open and set aside after used, probably reused, but I don’t think they ever cover it or dispose it afterwards. I don’t think Susan was very experienced but I was charged for a professional job, she did my mani in someone else’s station so can’t be 100% sure she’s licensed. Kudos for having people that speak good English and understanding what you want done. The one star is for that reason. Going back to Zen Cookie nail salon, great people, doesn’t smell and the quality service is priced right. I wasted my...
Read moreSuch a lovely little place. I normally drive across town to get my nails done at a place near where I used to live but I recently moved over here, and found this place on Google. No one greeted but there's a sign in sheet and a large waiting area unlike a lot of nail places with only 4 or 5 seats. People are complaining that no children are allowed but I'm pretty happy they don't let children come. THEY HAVE SO MANY NAIL COLOR OPTIONS . I was thoroughly impressed and went with something I feel I couldn't find normally. Hannah did an amazing job! She was super sweet and pretty gentle. She paid attention to the little details and my mani/pedi turned out very cute. My feet are typically pretty calloused because of sports and such but she left them very smooth. Sometimes they still feel a bit rough whenever I leave other places. Customer service is great all AROUND, the girls seemed really sweet and attentive. The complimentary drinks are delicious too!! Will definitely be...
