I have always donated many wonderful items and shopped at this store regularly. It's especially nice to donate toys that have been outgrown and then purchase age appropriate from the store at a decent price. The majority of their cashier's are very professional and friendly. But there is one individual that makes you feel that you are trying to get away with something. Comments are made that items you are purchasing "are a really good deal and should have been marked higher" or "that at other stores, you would have paid such a high price for the item you are purchasing". But isn't that point of thrifting? It's frustrating enough to find an item that you really want that's unmarked and told you cannot purchase it and will not ever see/find it again. But recently I waited in a long line to get up to the counter with a kids ride on toy, when this individual cashier examined it and gave me a suspicious look because she felt the item I was buying must of had a wrong tag because the price was too low for what she thought it was worth. When I asked what price I could buy it for, she indicated it had to go back in the system and then again, I'd never see it again. She then proceeded to lecture me in front of other shoppers that some people really abuse the system and so she felt it necessary to make an example out of a regular customer that just donated a car full of toys. I feel that's not the mission of St....
Read moreI love how much this store has expanded. I stopped whenever I'm in the area 5-6 times per year. Today I found multiple boxes of Christmas without price tags. There were plenty of the same brand/qty that had price tags. However management refused to price them & let me buy them!! Instead addition there were identical boxes of ornaments with up to a $2 different price. The only difference was one box got priced a day before the other. I was told each employee decides the price!! That is STUPID!! THERE SHOULD BE A UNIFORM PRICE STRUCTURE FOR ITEMS like this. Glass Christmas ornaments 4 per box, 6 per box, 8 per box, etc. I could have spent another $50+ in your store today & could not. I was told nonpriced merchandise gets SENT AWAY. Seriously, it's not ROCKET SCIENCE. The employees need to have a few basic rules when it comes to pricing. Most likely these will get broken in the back & forth &...

St. Vinnie's has always been a thrift staple in Green Bay, and it's nice to see that they aren't totally gouging people on prices the way some second-hand shops do. This location does have a significantly smaller selection than other more established stores, but I almost always find what I'm looking for.
Oh, the closers are rude though. Like 30 minutes to close they've started to get irritated that I'm in the store. Working retail, I understand, but you have to keep those thoughts on the inside. Even the last person in the store will only take 3...
