The Herbary - Bear Creek Farm — Local services in Howell Township

I had my bridal shower here and they did the flowers for my wedding in September 2021. We could NOT get in contact with anyone almost throughout the entire process even though we were assured everything would be fine. We had to purchase FAKE flowers for the bridal shower, because they could not get it together in time to provide the real floral arrangements.

Cut to my wedding day where Dana was so late - she is handing out the bouquets while we’re waiting in the limo to leave for the ceremony. What she provided that day, both at the ceremony and reception site, was cheap and not what we agreed upon. Also, our custom welcome sign, that I kept in their care, arrived to the ceremony broken - they made no mention of this.

There was never any follow up after the wedding either. I’m new to Howell, I was very excited to support local business and I felt I was treated like a second class citizen. During a time that should have been fun and exciting - they provided me nothing but grief.

I had to find out the Herbary was sold to different owners on social media - no one reached out to inform us of the change. I do understand the owners are now different and my wedding was during that transition (otherwise this would be a 1 star rating). I just hope in the future they can provide the services they advertise, but just in case, let this be a warning to any...

This place is awesome. If you're looking to decorate your home with modern style this is the place to go. I came here looking for local honey and I found that and so much more. Their honey is from their beehive that is onsite at the farm. Very fresh and delicious. They also have amazing house plants in their greenhouse that you can walk through. They sell all sorts of cool stuff in their store. They have a great little cafe as well with soda, water, hot tea, coffee, hot apple cider. As well as apple cider donuts, soup, sandwiches, kale salad, and chocolate chip cookies. I had the soup which was a butternut squash soup and it was delicious. You can also check out the animals they have outside including chickens and right now two baby goats. This place is really awesome and I highly reccomend stopping in. The staff is wonderful...

What an amazing gem! Had a lovely time there, exploring all of the nooks and crannies of the gift shop. Found so many beautiful Christmas gifts and some cute items for myself as well. Then we wandered into the greenhouse and bought some beautiful plants and other goodies from some local vendors who had tables out back. Before we left, we stopped in the cafe for coffee and hot chocolate. But we also grabbed some bowls of amazing chili. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I wish we bought more than 1 bowl.
