Very nice place for an easy hike with a small pond. Fishing isn't the best, some small pan fish and small bass. Great for bird watching (abundant gold finch) and photography. Biggest downfall is the extreme amount of deer ticks. A half hour trek and my husband and I were covered with hundreds of tiny deer ticks. Highly recommend using a repellent with deet for deep woods. Read moreFound a red bat that was weak and needed help. We took her to a rehab place for a shot of fluids and then drive back to re-release. She did great!!! With so much energy, she flew happily into the woods.

There wasn't much to see as far wildlife when I went, aside from frogs or turtles in the pond and the geese that you see everyday. There was so many mushrooms (unedible).
