The Market Place at Creekside Gardens — Local services in Howland Township

We just wanted to shop in peace and there was a female employee who wouldn’t stop following us around. She snatched my stuff out of my hand without asking and said she would take it to the counter and then stared at me. I was very uncomfortable like she thought I was going to steal!

Response to owner - I completely understand. However, the lady who was following us around admitted that she was becoming overbearing by her own admission and laughed. Then she took it a step further by taking only two small things out of my hand without asking. I was put off by that because it was so small that it wasn’t bothering me to hold it. I would think it would be more polite to ask instead of snatching it out of my hand when I’m not looking. I was caught of guard and it didn’t seem nice...I was really bothered by it. We just wanted to shop and enjoy...

Came into the store a few weeks ago and asked for a particular item. Was told "we usually have it, but I will have to order it for you. Leave your name and number and we will call you as soon as it comes in". Stopped in yesterday because i havent received a phone call. The woman I spoke to didnt want to be bothered. Thats what my husband and I felt, anyway. She told us that she has been there for 7 years and they have NEVER had the product that we were looking for and she has no idea why my name and number was taken in the first place. She disnt even offer to confirm the situation. We feel that one hand doesn't know what the other is doing, and they have no clue about anything. We feel that they are lacking customer service, as we felt like we are a neucence...

2 stars is a gift review-wise. I live out of state but come here all the time for military duty. I came here for a gift for my boss about a month ago. No one asked me what I was looking for, no one seemed to be around. Until I walked up to the cash register to check out. The very young lady gave me a head nod, so I guess that meant I was being helped next, even though I was the only one in line. She said literally nothing to me aside I checked out. Then she asked at the end “do you want anything wrapped or anything?” I said no, as I was so ready to be rid of her negative energy. She said okay. Didn’t say thank you or have a good night.
