Safe and Sound Outfitters — Local services in Huber Heights

With the high rating of this business I assumed good service would come with it. Unfortunately I was wrong. I stopped in one day to look at the safes they had in stock and spoke with Mike. Mike was very nice and answered the questions I had. I left that day with some literature and information to help me make my decision. I narrowed my options down to a couple models and called back to get some pricing and lead times. I spoke to Mike again but he said he could only give me information on what safes they had on their floor (none of the models I was interested in). The only person who could look up pricing for safes that needed to be ordered, or that were in their other building would be the owner and he was not in. I left my information and asked someone get back to me sometime with the pricing and lead times for the models I was interested in. A week went by and no one contacted me. I called back a week later and spoke to Lucas. Again I was told that the only person who could give me the information I needed was the owner and again, he was not in. I left my information again and asked that someone get back to me when they got a moment. Several more days passed and no one reached out to me. I called a third time and spoke to someone else. Again I was told the owner was not in and they didn't have any information to give me. He asked for me to leave my information again but I told him I believed my information had already been taken by Mike and Lucas. He cut me off mid sentence and rudely said "Ill let Lucas know someone called about a safe" and then hung up. Very disappointed in their lack of customer service. I went to another Liberty dealer, made a purchase and had a new safe within a few days. I don't recommend using this company, find another company who appreciates...

I come in here somewhat often. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The building is always very clean. The indoor firearm range is like no other in the area. They will assist you in finding something online if they don't have it in the store. The prices are a little high, but what people need to understand is that you're paying for a premier range in a small town, with staff that are all locals and have a medium/advanced level of firearm knowledge, and will help you learn to shoot better at the range. This all costs money and I'm perfectly fine to pay extra to hang out with the staff while I shop and shoot. Everyone wants to say "buy local, support small businesses". until its time to pay a little bit more. Go to a cheaper range or gun store and you will not have the same experience. You may even go somewhere else and have staff that don't know what they're talking about! Even after I move 20 minutes away, I will still choose this...
