Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in New Carlisle

Ordered from here 7/19/20. Gave me the wrong order. Didn't know until I got home 20 minutes later. My wife called as I was going back down there. Told her they couldn't replace my original order and it would still be as fresh under the heat lights add in the oven. But they would give us a 2 liter of soda! So I called after she did. They instantly put me on hold where I stayed until I got back to the store which was nearly 8 minutes time. They told me when I returned that they did remake the order. After telling my wife they couldn't??? I told them I didn't believe they remade it. He told me he didn't care and told me to leave. This was the manager. Another employee from the kitchen area also came out and tried to get involved. I told them to refund my card and is never come back to that store. What a joke of a manager and store this place has become. I was a fairly regular customer, willing to drive the 20 minutes from my house.

After writing this review today and giving a one star review, I was contacted by Lisa I believe, from this store. She apologized and made things right by me and I do appreciate the quick action on her part and her also making things right. This was a one time incident and I understand things happen sometimes. Me and my son used to order from this store a lot then one day I was put on hold like I am every time I call and then got disconnected so I called right back and they pick up and then hung up on me. It’s been over 2 months sense I’ve tried to order but my son asked if we could try again the other night so I call on my way home from work in Dayton and instantly put me on hold. I drove from Dayton to Medway and decided to just call Pizza Hut. I’m still on hold with papa John’s and drove on to Fairborn to pick it up because they don’t deliver to Medway. They still never took me off hold. Haven’t been able to get food from there in over 2 months. It’s ashame they can’t get fix...

First time ordering pizza from Papa John's......and the last. Time of delivery was the best part of the transaction. Apparently was a very busy night. From the delay in answering the phone, to the person who took our order, (who apparently doesn't understand the concept of customer service), to the cost & actual pizza...this wasn't a good experience. Asked for pepperoni, mushrooms & onion on the pizza, & an order of garlic parmesan breadsticks. Breadsticks were dry & had no parmesan, pizza toppings were extremely sparse, but the order arrived hot, so that's in their favor. Lesson learned. We'll stick with Dominos...
