This business is 100% reliable, honest, and affordable. I'll be taking all my electronic device problems his way and tell everyone I know to go here to get their devices fixed. from start to finish I couldn't have had a better experience or service than I received from this repair store EC Wireless. They refuse to rip a customer off (me) and are honest with the answers to the questions you ask even if they know they are going to miss out on making money.

My story:

While I was at work a coworker knocked my phone out of my hand and completely busted the screen on my brand new phone which made me extremely upset for lack of a better word. This same coworker told me about this small little mom and pop repair store that is located out where we lived. I went to ec wireless on Friday July 29 2022 and explained what had happened and if he could help me. My phones flashlight would come if I shook it back and forth like it was turned on however the screen would stay black ( not light up or show a single thing. It was like I never turned it on). The man behind the counter, Brian ( the owner/operator) explained to me that the phone itself was fine (worked) but the screen was completely broken aka a lost cause. After he did some searching online he told me flat out that it would be cheaper for me to go back to my provider and get a new phone ( I had insurance on it) instead of just doing the work and charging me an arm and a leg for him to do it himself. He did mention that if I did get a new phone and it was the same make and model he could go in and swap the motherboard over so that my new phone would be just like my old phone and be as if nothing ever happened. So I went to my provider and got the exact same phone just like he said to do and took it to him so he could change the boards over. It only took this man about 30mins max to go thru and swap the boards over and to be sure it was like nothing had ever happened to my phone all the apps were there pictures everything. A lifesaver to say the least. On top of being honest with me he only charged me 60 bucks to swap the boards over.

The nutshell:

If you want fast and reliable service from a place that is honest with you about how you should go about fixing your phone/computer/tablet/whatever this is the place to go to. He could have easily told me "yes I can fix your phone no problem" and charge me a price that was more expensive than going to my provider but he didn't he gave me an honest answer knowing he just talked himself out of money. What he didn't know was that he just made a customer for life. being honest is a thing that is lacking in this area but this company nailed it. Stole $1k gaming laptop a few years back, he would never call and when we called for updates he would claim there was a lack of communication on our side. We were charged around $300 before-hand and the parts he claimed he ordered would take months to arrive. This was in late 2022, we have never gotten a call back or received that laptop. FYI the issue with that laptop was that the backlights wouldn't turn on, meaning the screen wouldn't light up but the actual screen itself was fine, nevertheless he charged us to get the screen fixed and then realized the screen wasn't the issue, and he tried to charge us again to fix the backlights. The customer is not the one that is supposed to call in to ask if the repair is ready, the service provider is supposed to call to let the customer know their device is ready to be picked up, but no call was received for almost 3 years. He might lie and say no business was done with me, he might claim the problem was unfixable (which in that case he should've refunded and returned my property), he can claim I have the wrong business, or that I'm "unreasonable", but I know for a fact this is the right business and I remember these details fondly. So why did I wait 2 years to write this review? Because I just haven't had the time to, and so he can't lie his ass off and claim something that isn't true, all he might remember is he made an easy thousand bucks off of most likely selling my laptop. But I also have a new device so I never had a need for the one he stole back, but when I do think about it, it pisses me off so I might as well warn people not to deal...

This is the worst repair center that I have ever met. When I first called him and gave the model number to my tablet, he said that he had the screen in stock. When I actually took it to his store, he said that he had to order the screen, this was Thursday April 16, 2020. He said he would order the screen that day and it would be in by Saturday April 18, 2020 and he would have it ready by Monday April 20, 2020. I called on Monday to see if it was ready, he said that he had not gotten to it but would get to it by the end of the day. I called back on Tuesday, Wednesday pretty much everyday to see if it was ready. He then stated that he was waiting on the screen to come in. He said that he had gotten a delivery in but the screen was not in with that shipment. He said maybe it is in with the next shipment. I called back to see if the screen had come in on that shipment, he said he hasn't been getting any shipments because of COVID but then on the same phone conversation he stated that he was on his way to the post office to pick up a shipment and to see what was on it. I asked if he could let me know if my screen was on it. He said he wouldn't know until Monday if my screen was on the shipment that he was currently on his way to pick up. HMMM!! Today is April 30, 2020 and my tablet is still not fixed and he is still saying that the screen has not come in. I will never ever go to or recommend this company to anyone.
