So i like trying mom and pop places and supporting small business ..but when your not busy, theres no excuse to wait 20 minutes to get your order taken and another 45 to get food. I eventually took it to go bc i seen how long service was taking to get our order. I waited patiently but watched multiple couples come in and walk out after waiting about 10 minutes to get menus. Im not sure if the waitresses are cooking too or what but i asked for plastic silverware to take with me and i waited for the server to come back and finally gave up waiting and left. Im sorry but i showed up at 930. I work 10 minutes away. And i start work at 11. I figured an hour and 20 minutes would have been sufficient when a place is slow and not busy. Guess we wont be returning here. Food was cold as well when i touched it after she brought it out. Had to heat it up at work ..tasted ok..gravy was the best part but was very dissapointed overall. Hopefully they can get...
Read moreI wasn't going to complain at all but after receiving our bill I'd like to share our experience since none of these were addressed to us while there. When you walk in, don't stand there waiting for assistance because you seat yourself. No signs around to tell you that. If you order water they charge you .98 per person and it's the same water you get at any other restaurant, nothing special. When you order a burger or anything that comes with chips and are told you can get fries, you get charged for a side of fries, plus your meal price, even though you still don't receive the chips. Kind of funny and the server does not tell you this. So our family of 3 which all got waters, a kids hotdog, burger & patty melt walked out spending what we usually do at Outback. The food was home cooked so it taste decent enough. My patty melt was a small piece of meat that covered maybe half my bread. We will not be back. Awkward service, ok food and...
Read moreI feel like this is the kind of place you go to when you are not in the mood to cook and want something quick and easy that is not fast food. The food here is okay, nothing to say that it's a must-try place. My family and I have ordered food to go from here a few times and the food is good but again nothing spectacular. However, I suggest you do not order dessert to go or otherwise. I paid close to $5 for the smallest, frozen slice of pie I've ever had. It was disappointing to learn that their desserts were not homemade and after buying 3 different slices of pies and all coming out the same (frozen, small) the apple pie being the nastiest with dry crust and the filling resembling a nasty goo that with one bite it was thrown away. It was discouraging, to say the least. The one good thing that I can say about this place is that the staff is friendly...
