Beautiful scenery and atmosphere however my husband chose this site by looks alone and paid no attention to the details of the contract. As soon as I pulled up to the site I was greeted by a man that acted as though he was my employer and it was my first day on the job. I immediately regretted this decision. He gave me a tour focusing on the fact that I had to dispose of the trash in the containers outside but everything was to be in a garbage bags, sealed and then taken to the dumpster in the parking lot (just what you want to do after a few drinks and in your party clothes and heels). He also informed me that the facility had to be vacuumed before we left and the temp is set at 70 (no adjusting) All 52 chairs were folded put away, up against the wall and tables /counters cleaned off only for “the boss” to come back and say we were over our allotted time(only 3 of us left there, the cleaning crew). He also said there were a few larger pieces of confetti on the floor outside from a balloon one of the kids popped. It has to be picked up before you leave so my friend picked up each piece by hand in her heels and in her Sunday best. Just what you want your party guests to do. It was unprofessional and any issues should have been discussed w us. We were told (in an email)the next day our security deposit would be cashed $300 (in its entirety because of the garbage that stayed in the receptacles and because we didn’t vacuum even though we were being told to leave and felt the floor was in good shape after all it was a small crowd of twenty something people, and 4 kids. We had a baby sprinkle at this venue March 2022. The space was perfect for our event of about 40 people. There were plenty of tables, chairs, and indoor space to accommodate our needs. It was a small and simple event, but there were many amenities that would make this a great space for any event. The full prep kitchen with chillers and warmers definitely came in handy and was also a great space to keep our extra supplies during the event. The bar area was large enough to serve as a buffet line and the chalkboard wall was a nice additional touch for decor. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. We did not plan for use of the outdoor space because of unpredictable spring weather, but it is gorgeous and if utilized could make the venue feel double the size. Renting the space was easy and done entirely through email. There are some simple rules for the venue in regards to cleaning that are clearly spelled out in the contract, so be sure to review before committing to the space. You are responsible for moderate cleaning of the space including vacuuming and throwing trash bags in the dumpster out front. We had a wonderful surprise birthday party last weekend at level one, Joyce was very helpful. I booked Level One just by viewing the pictures online since I live in Columbus, Joyce gave me a list of all the tables and sizes so I could have all my decorations prepared. The day of the sidewalks were cleaned prior to our arrival to set up and they were very quick to respond the day of when I had questions. Many hotel options close by at route 8 and steels corner. I would definitely recommend this location even though it was cold and snowy the setting...
