Randall's Stop 'n Shop — Local services in Hudson

One of the cool things about Randall's Stop and Shop is that they feature Iowa products. It has Ralph's old fashioned canned meats, Just Dough edible cookie dough, Hansen's dairy milk and curds, honey from Wildflower Acres, Here is What's Popping gourmet flavored popcorn, Randall's Deli potato salad, baked beans and party potatoes. And Fat Cup co coffee. Typical grocery store with drinks, chips, cookies, instant meals, granola and protein bars, crackers, cold section with Lunchables, cheese, meats. Instant potatoes, canned goods, pop tarts, and the deli section has all of the aforementioned Iowa specific products.

We use Randall's Catering quite a bit at Bill Colwell Ford for various events. Most recently, they went above and beyond when a different caterer we had booked forgot about our event. We called Randall's and within an hour we had smoked beef roast sandwiches, mashed potatoes, and green beans for 60 people. Their sale prices are great... really great. And it smells much better than it did a couple of years ago, the last time I visited. The thing that got them 4 stars instead of 5 is that when you're looking for a particular item, it's like a treasure hunt. They have a little bit here, a little bit there, a little more some other place. And some of their meat looked decidedly old. $28 for 10 pounds of 90% lean burger sounds great, but it was only half frozen...
