Sorry..But I have to change my review on this store. I've been shopping there for years. Never had a problem. I bought 2 big boxes of Samosas, brought them home, took bags out of the big boxes so they would fit In freezer..& both bags of Samosas were covered in mold. I don't live close enough to just run back to their store to get a refund or exchange. And they're not cheap. Really disappointed. I kept them for awhile so I could take them back but I was w/out my car for awhile & by the time it was fixed it had been too long. I did take pics of them that night so they could see the date on the photo matched the date on my receipt but I never got to go. I'm not mad about it..just disappointed. Somewhere along the line they were not stored properly for them to have as much mold as there was. That is just unacceptable & really gross. I shop at the Igra in Porter now. I recently stopped by this store. We were making a pot luck at work so I needed halal ingredients. This store has lots to choose from all halal. The lady and gentleman at the counter were very helpful since halal is new to me. I found some ground chicken breast at a good price. I also found some halal chicken bullion. This store is in the neighborhood making it convenient. I use tiger balm oils for sore muscles, they have a small balm and this is the strongest tiger balm I have ever used. Great local halal market with what you'll need for Indian food, Turkish, etc. Also good frozen options as well. They have onions, potatoes, garlic, fresh and frozen okra, curry leaves. Things that would be pretty hard to find elsewhere. And they have a good mix of Korean ramyeon like the Buldak flavors and other ramen options from different countries. The staff is very nice. Other shoppers are very kind. It would be nice to know when they restock so I can plan my visits for when the store has more options, but it should be a go-to spot for people looking to support local grocery stores over the...
