Weis Markets — Local services in Huntingdon

The price here is a little higher than the one in Walmart, but it's a quick option for anyone living near here though. There're not many options of produces and products like in Walmart either. The staff were helpful if they know your struggles. I had an online order to pick up here once. But when I came to pick it, staffs had no idea about the existence of this service!!

I bought the beef from here one time. When I opened it at home, it looked so DARK inside while it's super red outside. I guess they must repackaged and did something with that meat to make it look good from outside. I heard about a similar truth in other supermarkets but this was my first time to see it in Weis - a local market. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!!

Went with a group of cub scouts who learned how to plan a shopping list and find things in the store. As they are not old enough to read the signs efficiently they buzzed back and forth through the store to find items. The store clerks were very patient with us, pointed the kids in the right direction when asked where to find things. The store itself was clean and organized with plenty room to move about with a shopping cart. The boys had to compare the prices of brand name products and store brand products - they were impressed with the savings. Over all, it was a great experience. I'm glad they let us bring the scouts in, because they sure enjoyed...

The Weis Market is a cherished asset to the young and elderly alike. Perfectly located to serve the local Juniata College residents and Huntingdon's large community of senior citizens.

I've always been pleased that the Weis Market manages to have a variety of items and brands that other stores in the area don't have. An impressive bakery and prepared food section that holds its own against competitors. The staff is local and friendly, often knowing regular customers by name.

The pharmacy is horrendously slow. I'm not sure if it's because of the volume of orders being processed or unmotivated staff. I suggest using a different pharmacy if the option...
