Yoder Discount Grocery — Local services in Hutchinson

This is a "bump and dent" grocery store, but I didn't know it until I read it on the website. Everything I saw and purchased was just the same quality as a normal grocery store. The prices are MUCH cheaper than stores I'm used to.

They also have a cooking isle that any home cook or Chef can get lost in. I spent about 15 minutes in that isle alone like a kid in a candy store. SO many different flours, spices, and other cooking and baking ingredients that are inexpensive, and hard to find elsewhere. I had to use Google to look some things up because I had never heard of them. Apparently the Amish use some of these unknown ingredients in their everyday cooking. I wish they had a store like this in Omaha, I know a bunch of people that would visit it.

Prices were excellent.The place was nice and clean.The young lady that Took care of us was not very pleasant. We spoke to her 3 times she didn't bother to speak back to us. Not like when we were there Saturday and spent a couple 100 hours. She was very, very, she has and the lady that was there. The older lady was extremely nice. Small store is more thanna discount grocery. I advise bringing your own bags. You may have to bag your own groceries. As stated, this is a discount grocery store, but they do have non-discount food items available as well as beautifully crafted quilts for sale. The parking lot is small but accommodates most motorized vehicles & and horse-drawn carriages. It's definitely a good place to go if you want to save some money on...
