I went to Ridley's in Hyrum today and I was immediately impressed with how inviting and refreshing the atmosphere, and the setup was compared to what it has been over the last several years! The display cases are setup at an angle as you walk in so that it has more of an open space as you walk through the door which makes it feel open and inviting and not so claustrophobic and closed off.
The produce is fresh and displayed so that it looks amazing, and they had a lot to choose from compared to in the past where it was often shriveled up and picked over.
The atmosphere of the associates was very warm and welcoming. You could tell that the new changes that have been taking place over the last several weeks is a huge morale boost, and the associates all seemed happy with the changes as well as eager to help and assist the customers.
When I mentioned at the checkout stand how impressed I was with the atmosphere and the changes that I noticed, several of the associates were assisting other customers, and they all gave credit to their assistant store director Kimberly Villalobos for the positive and energy in their store.
I wanted to give praise and recognition to Kimberly Villalobos for the hard work and incredibly attention to detail that she has implemented in her store. If you have ever worked in customer service or in any form of production you will know that if you have a supervisor that cares about their work and their employees, then their employees will reciprocate that appreciation and it will reflect in in their attitudes which in turn allows the company to grow in a positive direction. This seems to be the case with all the positive improvements and energy taking place in this store.
Great job Kimberly, as well as to all of your associates at the Hyrum Ridley's store. The changes you have made are noticed and...
Read moreThis review isn't for the store in general as while it is overly priced and they get away with it as the drive into logan to walmart or smith's is a bit out of the way for some but moreso regarding one employee by the name of Gaylene. She always has RBF which is an acronym for something I won't put, always looks annoyed that she has to do her job and looks frustrated with her customers. I have worked with in the past at Convergys, so I as well as others can attest to her poor attitude in a more personal level than just cashier and customer. Today I went in with my partner and our ADA registered service dog and at checkout she had said there were no dogs allowed and I politely informed her that she is a service animal and she very rudely assumed that in her words "Yeah, an emotional support animal", which is a violation of the ADA as employees are allowed to ask two questions with out inference and those questions are "Is that a service animal?" and "What services has she been trained to perform?" I understandably was livid and had half a mind to report her and the location to the ADA and Ridleys corporate but I won't IF a manager sees this and gets a hold of me so we can discuss proper response to service animals and...
Read moreI love shopping at Ridleyâs! Itâs a small-town store with the kind of charm you donât find at the big chains. The selection is just rightâyou can always find what you need without feeling overwhelmedâand the prices are fair.
What really sets this store apart, though, is the manager. They always greet customers with a smile, ask how your day is going, and even remember your name. You can tell they genuinely care about the community and about making sure people leave happy. Iâve seen them personally help elderly shoppers carry groceries to their car and go out of their way to order special items when someone needs them.
On top of that, the store itself is spotlessâhonestly cleaner and more organized than most big-name chains Iâve been to. Shelves are neat, aisles are clear, and everything feels well cared for.
Itâs the kind of place where you feel like more than just a customerâyou feel like a neighbor. If youâre passing through town, itâs worth stopping in, and if you live here, itâs a blessing to have such a welcoming, well-kept store right...
