What a great, cheap way to spend a hot summer day. Warm Slough has easy drop-off and pick-up points. You can choose your duration depending on your other plans. We did the typical drop-off point so it was exactly one hour floating to the pick-up point. You can walk up the (very dusty) road and repeat your float, but on busy days that's a pretty dangerous road with cars flying down it. Ideally you can have somebody help ferry people back up to the start. We parked one car on either end and it worked well. It was crowded today but that was part of the fun. And groups spread out enough that we really did have our own space. The vault toilet at the pick-up point is nasty. No easy access to river, and the water doesn't look appealing. Looks more like a dirty canal for farming. The campsite, yeah campsite.
