What a great, cheap way to spend a hot summer day. Warm Slough has easy drop-off and pick-up points. You can choose your duration depending on your other plans. We did the typical drop-off point so it was exactly one hour floating to the pick-up point. You can walk up the (very dusty) road and repeat your float, but on busy days that's a pretty dangerous road with cars flying down it. Ideally you can have somebody help ferry people back up to the start. We parked one car on either end and it worked well. It was crowded today but that was part of the fun. And groups spread out enough that we really did have our own space. The vault toilet at the pick-up point is nasty. Looks like it hasn't been pumped in years, and people just pooped all over the floor. Use the bushes, instead.

Great place to float with the family. River is slow which makes it a really relaxing ride. Usually between 45 minutes to an hour ride if you go around the campsite. What I usually do is drop my family off on the staying point with all the tubes, then go to the finish station leave the car there and walk back up to the drop off area. It’s like a 10minute walk or less.

Been canoeing, standup paddle boarding, and tubing down this area for a while and the water is so calm and beautiful each time. The campsite is also really nice. There's not a lot of driftwood around so you'll have to bring your own if you want to have a campfire.

It's free, that's truly the only plus side. Super dusty and dirty, that really fine dust. No bathroom, which doesn't bother me but should be known. No easy access to river, and the water doesn't look appealing. Looks more like a dirty canal for farming. The campsite, yeah campsite. Only one to really pick from, looks like it gets used and abused from locals. Lots of trash to pick up before setting up, which always sucks!!! What happened to pack in pack out. I was just looking for a easy spot in the area, so it worked but nothing...
