A little disappointed at the sky rocketing prices. I’ll stick to Aldi’s for my produce. Immokalee produce center is no cheaper than your trendy farmers markets in town. If you need a lot of produce, like boxes of them, then this is a good place to go to for a large quantity but honestly I recognized their eggs and they were either bought from Walmart or Costco and are selling a single tray for $10, the price of a box with two trays you can get at Walmart or Costco. So I would still buy bulk at Costco and skip this produce center. Unless you’re looking for something in particular and not sold in stores normally like black sapote or certain chile peppers …etc. The only thing I would go back there for are the authentic clay Mexican dishes and kitchen items from one of the little shops.

This is a great place to shop if you want to buy local and get a colorful sampling of where the locals shop. Also, if you are buying in bulk or looking for those hard to find topical fruits and vegetables, check this place out. It will help if you speak Spanish, but you can get by with a little signing and gesturing. Bring lots of smaller $1 and $5 bills to make your transactions faster. A few handiwipes to clean up after sampling oranges, etc.

After months of living in SWFL I finally found great fresh produce at reasonably prices. Most vendors super friendly. I'll be back

IF YOU HAVE A NICE CAR, PARK FAR AWAY SO THEY DON'T UPCHARGE YOU! Far more expensive than a grocery store. Pulled in with my grandfather, in a mercedes, the worker witnessed this and I feel like they increased their prices accordingly. Every time we asked a price they stopped and thought about it for a while, like they needed to figure out what to charge the old man in a mercedes. I wouldn't have minded if the produce was more fresh. But there was a lot of soft fruit and veggies. A pineapple from this produce center costs more than an organic one from whole foods...??? Even though they've cut out the middle man & have no overhead or distribution costs, it costs SIGNIFICANTLY more than the store..why? Other than they specifically raised their prices for us. It defeats the point of a farmers market to spend more for...

All the freshest, seasonal, and even the everyday fruits and vegetables you need at a very affordable price. What usually cost you $8-$15 a pound at a grocery store, can actually get you full boxes of produce. You can purchase fruits and veggies buy the box full for your restaurant or buy small bowls for your everyday meals. Seasonal fruits and veggies are also sold freshly chopped in a cup. As well as street corn and ice cold fresh juices/teas like hibiscus tea(Jamaica), tamarind(Tamarindo), Pineapple(piña), sugar cane(Caña), Strawberry(fresa) and the well known Rice water (horchata). The only downside is the customers lack proper vehicle etiquette.. I mean how hard is to move your car to the side of the vendor instead of in the middle of an already narrow and small path... 🤷🤦 As they say...
