Dollar General — Local services in Imperial Township

Good selection of home goods, decor, and appliances. A less than average (but NOT small) selection of food, snacks, and beverages. I will, however, say that while the employees are nice, they are usually somewhere other than the register, and you will sometimes wait a few minutes before anyone even notices you're up there. Aisles are small and constantly blocked with employees' carts of merchandise to be stocked. Many shelves are often just empty. I only go for a select few items, or if I don't feel like driving more than 5 minutes to another...

Customer service here is excellent. The workers are fantastic. However, the line is always incredibly long. ALWAYS. There is only one cashier and it's a very busy location. And if corporate doesn't want to spend the money to put in a second register then maybe they should fix the self checkout that has been broken for years. Basically ever since it was installed. I wouldn't shop here at all if it wasn't the only dollar store in close...

The store isn't the cleanest, but it's staff are the friendliest and super nice. They were helpful and cheery. It's odd to be greeted with such genuine kindness in the dollar store. They had a great selection, I was surprised at the decent deals (especially on name brand soda!) and the variety of items. Bathroom was SUPER clean, especially since the floors of the store were so dusty, I expected it to be filthy, but...
