Ca Midwinter Fair & Fiesta — Local services in Imperial

I was a 4-h & FFA kid in my youth. I visited this month to help out my nephew with his most recent projects. It is nice to see how much the program has grown. However, the grounds haven't updated much, and ate not accommodating to the amount of traffic that is now in there. The parking is absolutely horrific. The most irritating and unsettling thing is the gate security rules do not allow the kids to bring in any food or drink (other than water). This issue causes fatigue as some of these kids are doing multiple projects or are busy throughout the day and cannot always leave the grounds to got to the car to eat (almost a mile away). They are forced to skip meals and nutrients due to this issue. Would it be asking too much to have a designated section for these...

Good atmosphere great food . Prices on food will always be a joke. $19.00 for a funnel cake 🤦‍♀️ the fact you have hundreds of people attending with ticket prices alone how about considering lower prices on basic food and drinks. Unfortunately the fair is placed at wrong time , march is the worst in the valley when it comes to strong winds, and rain . Recommend reconsider different timing. I just went to races...needed more cars for more ppl. Btw, I didn't know they charged Friday and Saturday the last wknd. Real inconvenience to be told after we were in line then told to go to main office for tickets. Race had already started b4 we go in. Do better next year and advertise better...especially what races you'll be...
