K Sushi Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Imperial

This place is one of the cleanest in the valley and the staff and atmosphere is great. 👍🏻 Cant believe there are complaints about the prices and wait times! Ive gone to a chain restuarant and had a $60 total for 2 plates of fish and rice. We spend half that amount here and get twice the amount of food. They even give you miso soup or salad while you wait for youre meal. (Which is so delicious) So really I think I pay around $20 for a yummy hot soup along with my meal and drink. Everything we try we are impressed by. We had the chicken cutlet and the #10. Our favorite server is the nice asian woman. Every time we visit we are so pleased bc everything tastes amazing and it never takes too long for our order to come out. My only wish is that they added more to their dessert menu. The food is being served to you fresh! If ya want quick n cheap grab some Mickey D's only takes 3 minutes to thaw...

Usually this is my favorite go to restaurant but my last visit was not that amazing. I found a paper clip in my meal and I don't believe my waiter offered an apology for it when I handed it back to him. Mistakes happen, but something like that should be addressed immediately. I wasn't given proper utensils to cut into my chicken cutlet either and it was missing one of the glazes it normally comes witha. My husband's sake was also forgotten. But for that he was given an upgrade at no charge. We still tipped regardless of what happened. Typically I would say this place is amazing but today I got there on a Friday after work. 45 min waiting for mine and my spouses dinner, never got a hot tea refill never got ny seaweed salad that I always go for and my spouses was not satisfied with his teriyaki chicken dinner he said he was supposed to get a soup or salad with it. I repeated to the waitresses to bring us our seaweed salad. I even spoke with the Japanese gentleman in the back making the sushie and empathize knowing as a waitress myself how busy the place was, however they are just so terribly understaffed it's seriously impacting buisness.
