Ah what a treasure...this is the only spectacular kind of fudge I eat. This is not a guilty pleasure. It is the ultimate treat. Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate. What more could a chocolate lover ask for? When I walk into this place, the smell of chocolate hits my tastebuds. I love the rocky road fudge, the peanut butter fudge, the marshmallow fudge, and every other piece of mouthwatering satisfaction this place has to offer. I am in love...I am simply in love. For this place is truly a candy factory. There are so many choices, so many different kinds of candy, so much excitement, so much satisfaction...and they even have ice cream. This place has it all. It is an honor and a privilege to experience this place. For some people, it is a once in a lifetime experience. To the fun and lovely staff, you will definitely see me again. You have no idea how many lives you save with your spectacular fudge. For this is chocolatey goodness with a smile. Your hard work, your dedication, and your passion for chocolate is a true marvel. I stopped in today with 55 clients for a bit of candy and ice cream. Gave them 45 mins notice, and said to come on in, they would be able to handle the group. We came in, she yelled at all of us to stay put, then proceeded to tell us how she wanted to go home as soon as possible and this is the way it going to run. Began to bark orders, about 1/2 my group left saying who needs to be talked to like this? I have never in my 40 years of touring ever ran into someone as rude and nasty as her! How can you run a business when you treat your customers like this? And then on top of it the candy looked, old, stale and way to expensive! Don't go here, go to the one in Washoe Valley, people are kind and candy is made daily, they give free sample and will let you use...

This candy factory is fantastic. I go back maybe once a month. The candy is house made and highly edible. They have a good selection of everything from hard candy to melt in your mouth chocolate fudge. And all that falls between the two. Peanut brittle. Those little things wrapped in paper, can't recall the name. Divinity. Etc... I am definitely a repeat customer. I find that the quality is much higher here than anything one might find at the grocery store or gas station. If you are a candy connoisseur, do make the drive to the Chocolate Nugget. It's kinda nice, with Virginia City just up the hill. Grab a bag of treats and make a day trip of it. It's well...
