Every part of this experience has been smooth & supportive. From the flyer that came in the mail that said just the right thing to get my attention, to the VIP call once I unlocked my price, to the support text I received checking in on my purchase 3 days afyer purchase. Eddie worked with my short (5min!) timeline to get my trade-in-value assessment started. The entire time I was in the dealership, everyone seemed to be very content (not fake happy & not overzealous) & worked closely together at every stage. Anitra made the entire sales process super simple. I was downgrading my finances and wanted a more basic vehicle, so she made sure I was happy with my choice, and made it clear what the differences were between my trade-in & new vehicles. She guided me each step of the way, was completely transparent, and even took a photo of me with my car and a giant bow on the hood, like the commercials! The person who took care of my financing explored all of my options, and advocated for me to get a lower interest rate when a 9-yr debt popped up on my report. (I am so sorry I forgot his name, because he was such a bright spot in a potentially discouraging situation!) And Cheryl followed up by phone on a text request I had, to make sure I got set up on their app without any hiccups. I HIGHLY recommend Union County Kia!

I recently purchased my very first EV, a Hyundai Ioniq Electric, from Union County Kia, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I stepped onto the lot, Stephanie and her team made me feel welcomed and supported throughout the entire process. As someone who was new to EVs and car buying, I had plenty of questions and concerns, but Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything. Her knowledge and passion for her job were evident, and it really helped ease any anxiety I had about making the switch to an EV and making a big purchase, too. The team worked diligently to find the best financing options for me and made the entire transaction smooth and stress-free. They were transparent, efficient, and genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with my decision. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience as a first-time EV buyer! Thank you, Stephanie and the Union County Kia team, for helping me take this exciting step into the world of electric vehicles. I absolutely love my new Hyundai Ioniq Electric, and I highly recommend anyone looking for a car to visit Stephanie at Union County Kia. You won’t be disappointed!

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. My 2023 Kia k5 broke down on the highway early August and got a tow truck to take it back to Kia. They took a look at it and say one of the injectors went bad and needed to be replaced. They found the problem and was only going to take a couple of days to fix which was great. Couldn’t give me a loaner car at the time so I sucked it up and told myself it wasn’t that big of a deal and it’ll be done in no time. They did the test drive a couple days later and my car broke down again and they had no idea what was the issue with it. So I’m calling trying to get updates but the only person who knew anything about my car couldn’t call me back or reach out to me or my dad after she said she would text, call, and email to give me constant updates. Didn’t get a single text or email by the way. Finally was able to get in contact with her and she told me the engine was bad and needed to be replaced which weird considering how I come to every maintenance when scheduled ,take really good care of my car, and only have 35k miles on it. What’s gotta be done has to be done so I wasn’t mad about it until she couldn’t give me a loaner car. An operation that took way over a month and I couldn’t get a loaner car at all. Every time I called she wouldn’t pick up and anytime I would ask about a loaner car she said they were all being used. Countless time on hold waiting for her to pickup and nothing. I don’t know how the same people have had their loaner cars for that long and not one of them freed up. Maybe their engines are bad as well I have no clue. Anyway just got my car back at the end of September and I still have problems with it after them replacing the engine. My average mpg was anywhere from 28-37 before and now I can’t get above 24 mpg, and my steering wheel shakes going faster than 45 so I don’t know if they even fixed the issue it’s had. They took a look at it ,fixed the issues and double checked everything was working properly. I took it to Wilmington that weekend thinking my car was fixed ,but I was terribly wrong. My car started overheating on our way to dinner. Let it cool off after 20 minutes and tried again but it had the same result. Had to park in on campus and take an uber to dinner. Kia was closed at the time so I waited until tomorrow for some answers. I called on Sunday multiple times but no one picked up the phone and needed to get back to Charlotte the next day. Had to get a rental and ended up leaving my car there. The next day I call them telling my whole story and what should I do next. They gave me a number so that my car would be taken to the Kia in Wilmington. I had a way better experience over there. They called me multiple times updating me throughout the day on my car, what they’re doing, what was wrong, when they’ll be done and many more. Never got that at this Kia. Anyway, they told me that the clamps were not on the right spot causing coolant to leak out which led to my engine overheating. I thought that was very interesting because the service team in union county Kia told me they tripled checked everything and I should have no problems driving my car. Not only that but that probably messed up my engine with the long drive and coolant slowly leaking out. They fixed that issue and some other things they saw that were never taken care of. Had to drive all the way to Wilmington to pick it up with my parents. They did an amazing job getting my car ready and solved all my issues. Driving on the way back home was calm, smooth, and very relaxing. I also was able to get my 35 mpg and no shaking after they fixed it. Overall, I’m just very disappointed with customer service, poor communication, and no loaner car given in the two months without a vehicle. Poorly executed by...

I didn't feel like posting a review but after today I will just be doing it I'm done lol. Today I came in for a bumper to bumper scratch fix because that was what me and my husband were paying for on our 2025 kia k5. I did mess up on my part because getting a buff fix isn't as easy than going in their kia app and making a schedule for service. I spoke with the ladies there and they said they knew what I was talking about with my plan I paid for. "Front to Back" but that doesn't cover scratches. These were scratches done by people btw. And they said it's if someone dings-- scratches aren't covered. I went to our dealer Marcos who told us that is was supposed to be scratches and dings but that's where the conversation ended because I just wanted my second tank fill atp. (we were owed a second tank fill because we had appointments to finish our car touch ups and they wasted our mileage and gas with poor communication)

Marcos told us at the end of our lease there was supposed to be a different amount that should be about $9,000 at the end of our lease to buy it out. Well we found out through a different dealer it was going to be about $19,000. Its funny, no one has a definite answer about anything here. This isn't even where it stops lol.

We had a different dealer for my husbands parents. The other dealer I mentioned earlier. Luke had sold a Sorento to us with an ant infestation, water spots, and it was installed wrong at the factory for the breaks to sound horrible when breaking. You would THINK they would check that but no they didn't. We complained and they said they would fix that up. They ended up doing that but to pick up the car was an annoying trip in itself. My husband and his father when to pick up the car when Luke said he would be there. What he didn't say is that he wouldn't come in time therefore being late and the dealership closes soon. My husband and his father arrived with the car being unlocked and the keys left in the open with the car. THIS IS RISKY, someone could literally come through see the keys were still inside and take the car. Another thing we found out is that someone ended up doing 90 MPH with the car while it was getting fixed. We brung this up to the staff and they were sort of brushing it off because "someone shouldn't be able to do 90 MPH in it". Well if you LOOK AT THE KIA APP ITSELF you can see that the top speed was 90 MPH. THIS WAS ON THE SECOND DAY. My family only had it for a night. My husband asked if they're saying he's lying then they said no. So obviously no one is admitting that yes their staff did 90 MPH in my family's car.

All I have to say is that they lie, or can't explain crap at all-- and try to sell u cars that might end up being in some sort of bad condition. Don't let them run you over with that bs. Remember that my dealers are Marcos and Luke. Everyone there might ask if you could do them a good review early on to get you, me and my husband didn't bother and now that it's been like 5 months I had the k5 this...

I had my eye on a Toyota Rav4 Hybrid for a few weeks, and was able to get an appointment and come in. I had came in with a female friend, and before we started to test drive the car, the tire light was on & was displayed on the dashboard. I thought that was weird considering that was never shown on the pictures as well as the imperfections that came with the car like scratches that were dollar bill sized and the tires had little-to-no treading on them. The salesperson was literally looking up on ChatGPT on how to remove the tire light sign from the dashboard which was already a red flag. When I tried to mention these issues during the financing process in hopes they would be understanding and negotiate the asking price, I assume the salesperson was new as he didn’t know what to say after I declined applying for a loan with them after I showed him I was already approved through my bank, therefore it was unnecessary for to do so, therefore, he had to ask for someone else to assist me. The financial man who had assisted me came off very strong and pushy from the start of the conversation. He was very pushy on pressuring me to loan with the dealer after I told him I already have an approval letter from my bank with a set interest rate. He kept insisting and I did not want to. When speaking regarding the price of the vehicle and if he would lower it due to the tires, the light on the dashboard, and the scratches that were in and outside of the car, he told me that he could just “buff” out the scratches, the light was just from low air pressure, and that i would have to pay extra for the tires rather than just lowering the price. makes no sense when the car came like that, i thought the least he could’ve done was give me an actual discount that didn’t just get added up with taxes. mind you, this car also has an active recall in which I would have to take it to a toyota dealership to get fix. the deal that was supposedly “the best deal” he could get me was literally the price the car already was with $2000 added in taxes and fees. come to find out, that was the out the door price all along. i understand they have to make a sale but i believe there is a difference between making an honest & transparent sale and just simply scamming someone. after i declined, he was passive aggressive and annoyed with me at this point and left without me even finishing what i had left to say. after i mentioned i was being serious about coming back with my dad next time, he was just obviously rude and said, “well the car isn’t gonna be here.” i’m convinced if i was a guy or came with a guy, he wouldn’t have treated me the way he did. overall, union county kia needs...
