Coca-Cola Bottling Plant — Local services in Indianapolis

This has got to be one of the worst places I’ve ever been to. Showed up 30 minutes early, they sent me away at first telling me they will call me once they have a door available. At that point I knew this place is a joke. When they finally got me in I had to check in once docked and the guy doing the check in is like retarded or something. I come in say hello good evening and the guy acts like I’m not even there, wouldn’t even acknowledge my presence. All in all it took 5 1/2 hours to get me loaded and on my way, that’s unacceptable. As a result I was late to my delivery as it was straight thru which then turned into a work in and then caused me to have to cancel my pickup for the next day. I’m not going to say people there are not working hard but based on my experience and what others have said this place is completely inefficient and has no respect for drivers...

(Pickup) - Don't be more than one hour early. I arrived 3 hours early for a 1pm and was turned away. Guards were pleasant and helpful, telling me about a lot down the road (off their property) where I could park until noon. Came back less early, and everything went fine. As mentioned by others, guards are nice, receiving is not nice. Drivers were helping each other back in because the place is like a dump with pallets stacked all over, leaving little room for OTR trucks to back into some of the doors. I had room to drive past all the doors, then turn around for sight-side back. Some drivers simply drive straight after the guard shack, then back left and all the way to their door....

Theo was awesome at unloading me and the gate staff was awesome!! The lady in the office with blond hair a little heavy set wasn’t very nice. Didn’t speak when I said hello she made me drop my paperwork instead of taking it by hand. She then picked up piece of tissue to grab another piece of paperwork that I touched. It wasn’t even the same spot lol. Not sure if it’s Covid related but her overall attitude and demeanor was negative.She didn’t provide a BOL and I had questions pertaining to why that was the case.
