Scrumptious, fun, and educational – the best date night! We headed over to Tulip Creek Creamery to learn how to make mozzarella. And for a man and wife who don’t like to cook, but have two little ones who want more than just pasta, we’re attempting to spread our wings a little bit by trying some cooking classes. We’ve been over to Rome (in Italy of course) and learned how to make pasta! And even in that setting, we weren’t as impressed as we were with Tulip Creek!
Here's why!
The passion about cheese flows (pun?) out of the instructor (Allie is the best), and Fons, the cheese man himself, is so passionate about making cheese delicacies, I can almost feel like making them at home. We brought enough mozzarella home to make some with the kids, and yes, it is just as yummy as you would think it is.
I recommend Tulip Creek for the amazing food science they teach, the passion behind each detail, and the overall experience just brings you warmly into a break from reality into something truly exceptional.
Would recommend for couples, birthday parties, and even bringing your kids if they’re used to handling hot...

Tulip Tree Creamery’s mozzarella-making class was hands-down the most fun I’ve ever had with curds (and that includes all my pizza nights). The instructors were equal parts knowledgeable and entertaining—I’m pretty sure they could make a brick of cheddar laugh. They guided us through stretching, pulling, and shaping our mozzarella like dairy-fueled sculptors. My first attempt looked more like a mozzarella crime scene, but by the end, I had a ball of cheese so beautiful I considered framing it instead of eating it. (Spoiler: I ate it.) 10/10 would recommend! Come for the cheese, stay for the laughs, and leave with an impressive new skill to show off at dinner...
Read moreThis company makes wonderful cheese! The triple cream foxglove is a revelation, it is honestly the best washed-rind cheese I've ever had from America or anywhere else. The first time I bought one of your Cheese's was when I was in Chicago visiting friends and we went to Eataly, I bought a ton of cheese and yours was the real gem from the whole lot. I live in Kansas City and don't get you have your cheese often but I'm on a list at my local cheese shop so they'll call me when they get your products in. Keep up the good work, we love...
