Normally I have great experiences with Hiltons; I'm an Honors member and my family and I love this chain. This brand new hotel looks lovely and the beds & bedding are great! But our bedroom faced the parking lot near the highway and we were awoken the first night around midnight by a large pickup truck doing squealing donuts in the lot!! It lasted a few minutes and stopped, so we went back to bed. But on our second night, it happened twice more after we went to bed at 11pm! This hotel has a very large parking lot and there are a lot of large pickup trucks parked there (this site won't let me post my video, but see the pics) - I wonder if local truckboys are using this as a recreational area to gather and show off? Anyway, I called down to the front desk after we were woken up for the second night in a row, sometime between midnight and 1am. I was told other guests had already called down. The night manager said she'd call the police. But then the squealing and donuts happened AGAIN at 1:50 am (note the time from the photos I'm posting), and I called down again, and the police weren't there yet. My daughter and I had to be out of the hotel by 5am for a 7:30am flight, so we only got 2 hours of sleep that night, and we did not get a single night of uninterrupted sleep here!||||If this were the only issue, it would be NOT IDEAL but maybe a blip, right? But (1) when we were checking out at 5am I asked the night manager about getting some money back because of our bananas experience with the noise and its interference with our sleep -- the most important part of any hotel stay! -- and she took all my information but DID NOT forward it to her manager like she said she would and nobody contacted me; (2) when I called the hotel again 2x and eventually spoke to an assistant manager, she told me that because I booked through Expedia, Hilton could do nothing for me (presumably not even award points).||||I'm really surprised that the hotel that wrecked our sleep two nights in a row could find no way to make it up to a loyal customer. But what I'm most worried about for others and the main reason I'm leaving this bad review is that the assistant manager said there is nothing they can do about the noise in the parking lot if guests do not call to inform them about it, because this lot is on the other side of the building from the night manager, and because it is a shared lot. ||||Potential future Hilton guests, this is bananas! Hilton can certainly install cameras sufficient to monitor whether monster trucks are doing donuts in their parking lot at 2am to ruin the sleep of their guests! They can also install noise filters there to check for excessive noise! There is an ENTIRE WALL OF ROOMS that goes up 6+ stories that is subject to these ridiculous parking lot noises in the middle of the night. Hilton should definitely NOT be waiting for dozens of their guests to be awoken from sleep and inconvenienced enough to groggily call the front desk before they handle their parking lot noise problems. (And by the way, I DID call down to the front desk, TWICE!) Gentle readers, lol, I would not stay here until they get these noises under control, because again, a good night's sleep should be ASSUMED when you spend money on a nice hotel room. ||||One final warning is that there also was a surprising amount of highway noise coming into our room, even when the monster truck wasn't rattling the windows. There are three or four different hotels in this business park and I wonder whether any of them have better noise insulation. ||||Overall: The beds and linens here were great, the breakfast was good, the check in was fine and the room was generally nice. However, the level of noise at night was not acceptable, and when raised with staff the response was not what I would expect from a Hilton. Our sleep was interrupted both nights we slept here, and management did not solve the problem and apparently has no intention of solving it for future guests, either. Maybe the monster trucks were just a one-weekend thing? Future guests will say, I...

But we had terrible sleep both nights we stayed here, management offered us nothing as an apology, and specifically said there's nothing they can do to help future guests avoid the same problems we had (even though they totally can), so I do not recommend this hotel.

That's bad enough, but when I noted the incident at checkout my contact info was never forwarded to the manager, and when I did finally speak to a manager after repeated calls four days after I checked out, , she told me that because I booked through Expedia, Hilton could do nothing for me (presumably not even award points). Read moreThe only thing good about this hotel for me was the location. This seems like a fairly new hotel, it should not be in this shape. I stayed there July 2023 and it has not aged well.||I am a gold HH member and I used the app to check-in and selected my room, but instead of a digital key, I got a note to see the front desk. Without explanation, I was put in a different room which happened to be handicap accessible (which I did not need or ask for). I had driven 9 hours to get there, arriving in the evening, so I did not pay much attention to the room the first night, but noticed door was difficult to lock when shutting from the hallway - and notified the front desk of that. The sheets on the bed were the most wrinkled I have ever seen on a bed. Also, the smoke detector is over the bed and at night it becomes a strobe light once the lights are out - literal bright white flashing every 30 seconds or so. This may be for visually impaired people, but again, I did not ask for an accessible room.||When I left for work the next morning, the door would not lock at all. I again told the front desk that I was leaving and the door is unlocked. I also mentioned that the bathroom sink was very slow to drain. She wrote down these items and said maintenance would be notified. I got back to the hotel almost 12 hours later after work, and simply had to push the door to open it - yep, all day unlocked. Drain not touched either.||I then noticed how dirty the room was. There were literal blood stains on the side of the toilet tank lid and on the bathroom light switch. Stains on the carpet, dirty floors, hair in the bathroom. ||Also in the bathroom, the towels are very small, the tub and liner were not all that clean and the toilet did not flush properly most of the time.||The GFCI outlet the microwave was plugged into had a fault and could not be reset. ||This accessible room would be great for someone needing wheelchair or walker access - everything was very spaced out, but it was an awkward layout for not needing extra space to maneuver. I am not rating low based on this, it is just an observation. ||Having a 2-room suite, it was nice to have two thermostats, but they do not allow for fan on without heat or cool. Basically could just either crank up or down the temp in an effort to keep the fan on. The fan is useful because this is right next to a highway and there is a LOT of noise all night long. Inside, I could hear walking above me, the water running, talking in the hallway, etc. It is not a quiet hotel. ||Here is one thing I did remember from the first visit. A blacked out windows red sedan that parks by the back entrance (right in front of the door) and may be someone visiting a hotel worker? Both times it was obvious people were in the car, but sketchy that you cannot see what is going on and they park right by the door. It stood out so much the first time, that I was shocked to see it there this time. ||The second morning, I went to get tea in the breakfast area - they did not have regular tea, only decaf tea, also noticed there were 2 creamers in the container for cream. Poked my head into the food area, did not look like much selection there either and a note on the yogurt machine that it was broken.||Needless to say, I will...
