My weight ballooned over the years and the pictures were the catalyst for me to make a change to get results. I eat relatively healthy and am not a big snacker. Fried or fast foods are rarely consumed. My only vice was having a glass or two of wine with dinner every night. I have a very stressful job as a c-level executive and travel frequently for work and sit in a lot of meetings.

The travel frequently interfered with my resistance training regimen though I'm still pretty muscular under the excess weight. Turns out that I am insulin resistant and have high cortisol. This made it difficult for the weight to drop off no matter how much I exercised.

Precision Med Spa is not far from where I live and the reviews were pretty good. During my initial consultation, I didn't feel rushed and all my questions were answered thoroughly. This was on May 30th, 2024. My starting weight was 188lbs and I'm 5'7. They offered a three month package for semiglutide, liquid lipo, and one bag of weight loss IV. Given that the dose in the first four weeks of being on semiglutide is supposed to get your body used to the medicine and not result in weight loss, I opted to add phentermine so it would get me started. I lost 31lbs and my weight is now 157lbs. It's not my goal weight yet, but I'm extremely happy with the progress in 12 weeks.

Now to the side effects. I experienced mild nausea in the beginning. It was annoying but not significant to require medication for it. The worse side effect is the constipation. I was very regular with daily bowel movements and it slowed down to about once a week. That was worrisome so I tried taking stool softeners and fiber pills. The medication works by slowing down the digestive system so I was eating significantly less. It even curbed my appetite for drinking. It was difficult to finish a glass of wine and I basically stopped having it regularly without missing it. I decided to add prunes to my diet but it triggered gas like I've never known before. It made me belch from the pits of my stomach and it was disgusting so I stopped taking it. The gas went away when I did.

Though my bowel movements are not what it was before starting this process, my energy is up, my skin is glowing, and my overall well being is improved.

It’s very important to me that my health, wellness, and beauty services be of the highest quality, so I was sold when Dr. Valdez explained to me that the particular fillers they use at Precision Med Spa are the safest dermal fillers on the market. She was very thorough in her explanation of the procedure as a whole, and sufficiently answered ALL the questions I had (and I had many). When it came time for the injections themselves, she went above and beyond to ensure I was as comfortable as possible. She even counted down each individual injection, so that I’d know when to expect the feeling in my lips. I so appreciated her kindness and thoughtfulness throughout the whole process.
