Dollar General — Local services in Irwinton

I’m giving 5 stars for a very good reason. And this rating isn’t just for one particular Dollar General store, but for every store I get a chance to visit. Toomsboro, Irwinton, Gordon, Milledgeville, Macon, and even in cities while traveling to see family. I can see now when once I was confused as to why so many of these stores were popping up all over the place. Good areas, great parking, great prices, clean and fresh smelling stores, friendly and very mannerable staff, when you’re up in age like myself,(63), and you can’t find anything you came for, there they go ready to your rescue. When your memory isn’t sharp anymore, who you gonna call? D.G. Staff!! I wouldn’t trade Dollar General Retailers for all the stores on earth. And I have no family members or friends that work in these stores, in case someone thinks I’m being forced or paid to speak from my heart. Still can't take credit cards, DG is losing hundreds of dollars on a daily basis (aggravated customers storming out) two hours of shopping they leave the cart full, happens daily because of a stupid cc machine.. most shelves are still empty and getting worse everyday, the ability to process a credit card is fundamental for any company to be successful, this has been going for over a month! As a DG stock holder this is completely unacceptable... Will be selling it all shortly! Obviously most DG stores are on their way down......
