Dollar General — Local services in Jackson Township

The employees are nice but they need a lot more training. No one in the store knows how to do Western Union. Or they say the system is down without even trying. When the other lady worked there she didn't have a problem doing Western Union every single time I went in there to do it. She also trained employees at work there how to do it as well but apparently there are none that work there anymore. They can't keep up on the sticker prices as to what they rang up so you're getting overcharged on most your items. Their excuse for that is they don't have enough employees to do that work. I've had to go back in there so many times this week and get money back on my receipt because they've overcharged me. Sometimes they use the excuse that the item was in the wrong spot but that's not true either because the barcodes match. They close often early because there's no customers there after 9:30. Which is crazy because they're not supposed to close until 10:00. I've emailed corporate but I'm sure I won't...

This place we used to go all the time, NOT anymore... I am a District Manager over all of NW Ohio and live locally. My wife and I will not be returning for ANYTHING, WE WILL make the 15-25 minute drive for what we need. It hasn't been the same since CHRIS was there, no excuses, this place went waaaaaayyy down hill. And now the hours were cut blaming the virus.... This store is nearby my sister's house in Upper Sandusky She is preparing for a craft show soon. This store had all the holiday items she wanted for crafts she was making at great prices. Our third trip here in two days. I found bags of Halloween candy discounted. I can shop sales too. I found a word search book and the gum I need for the trip home soon. Great store with an abundance of Christmas items. Lots of everyday stuff too. Fun store to wonder in. Cashier very friendly....
