Very rude. I don't live in the area anymore but thought they would be interested in looking at some cool, unique items I have. My wife and I have spent thousands there in the past so I am familiar with the type of merchandise they typically have. (The stuff I have is WAY better quality) The owner was there, the store was empty (no customers) and she refused to even look at my items since I "didn't have an appointment". I was in retail for 40+ years and was paid to teach other businesses how to properly run a retail store. This place is doomed to fail with this poor attitude! Here's a tip for you, "ALWAYS accommodate your customers!". I promise my wife and I will never spend another dime here.
RESPONSE: To begin with, when you open your doors, you should be prepared to "do business". Wether it's buying or selling, you should be ready. To ask people to "Wait in line" is an arrogant attitude. And as the owner, you should be able to handle ALL aspects of your business and not count on others to handle it. In today's world, it takes very little effort to find a suggested value on ANYTHING. You gave up the chanxe to make money, which is the goal of a business. I STRONGLY suggest you start reading books by Tom Peters. He would likely just tell you to shut your business down. Again, it's ALL ABOUT THE CUSTOMER, not about YOUR silly "Rules and Regulations". But, I'm sure you will believe you're right no matter what I say. Very few people are able to grow past their own ideas, no matter how bad the results are. I will just sit back and enjoy...

Read moreThis is the perfect place to obtain your perfect piece. The staff is so helpful to find exactly what you are looking for. If it is not on the floor, they have more to show you in their storage. This is not like any other "secondhand" show room you have shopped at before. The beautiful furniture and pairings are great when you are looking for that special piece. I was looking for something they did not have in stock and the owner, Nancy M., added it to a list and, shortly after, I received a call she had located something for me. The customer service is worth the trip into their...
