Cross Creek General Store — Local services in Jackson

Was told an hour and a half for a wait on an order, had two missed calls 30 minutes before the time limit was up. Called back to find out they had closed and would stay open to allow us to pick up the order. Fiancé got there, knocked on the door multiple times and no one answered. Called to ask why that was, and the response was "well obviously we didn't hear him because we've been right here cleaning". Will never go back here. No matter how busy or stressful your job may be, you do not act that way or say something to the effect of "well obviously..." to a customer or client. Some of the most helpful and friendly people I have met in a long time. I had a flat tire and staff went out of their way to help me with everything from finding tools I needed,using phone,and even helping me change the tire. They checked on me about every ten min to make sure I didn't need anything else. They were super friendly and helpful and made me feel very comfortable as if I were one of their family members needing help. Great place. I liked the theme they have. They have food, pizza, sandwiches, deep fried stuff, but no French fries untill after 10am. The seating inside and outside is cafe style. There is a complete state liquor store inside, yep they sell the hard stuff. The restroom was very clean.....and different, real homey. Gas prices were fair also.
