The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the delivery guys were terrific. They deserve raises. The reason for the 1 star review is the sales Woman. We were there on 9/9/25, around noon. My husband was 2 week post op from major back surgery, there was not a chair or couch in our home that he could get comfortable in, including the recliners we'd purchased from FWDW 3 yrs earlier, his mobility was limited. We were approached as soon as we entered by a middle aged blonde Woman & asked if we needed help, I said we need to look at all the Wallhugger reclining sofas, her answer was "I'm not sure which ones are, you'll have to test them & see". And so we did, for over an hour. She came over once & asked if we had any questions & I answered honestly "If we do we'll figure out the answer ourselves" because that's what she'd told us to do. When my husband had made his final choice, I went looking for ANY other salesperson, while i was looking around I passed her & she asked again if she could help & I really really wanted to say No Thank You but they're just wasn't anyone else around so I said Sure & walked in the direction we needed to go when she made the mistake of passive aggressively asking "Did I do something to annoy you?" First, she knew she had or she wouldn't have asked, she didn't expect my honest reply highlighting her awful service to us from the get-go. I reminded her that instead of telling us to "figure it ourselves" she should have offered to look it up & then SHOW us what we were looking for. Then she argued & back pedaled as I was walking away again until I turned & looked her in the eye & said "enough". As a small business owner in Lauderdale county in the service industry who has several full time employees, I'd fire any one of them ON THE SPOT if I heard them talk to a customer that way or not offer to do ANYTHING to assist them. If we could have just left & looked at any of the multiple other furniture stores, we would have., but my husband just couldn't do that much walking again, he was in pain. If I could have given ANY other salesperson the credit for our purchase, I would have. As it was, we were over a barrel. We won't be next time, we were repeat customers & our business was yours to lose & she did that for you. We will never recommend your business to others & we will not be back. You can thank...

An earlier review was removed due to " misunderstanding" . Well I put a bad review on this web site because I didn't like the way my daughter was being treated. Then it was removed because of the "misunderstanding." Now as punishment for a bad review that I posted, my daughter can't buy furniture from here as punishment for a bad review. They said they don't jerk people around but it sure sounds like that's what they are doing! After being told 5 times from more than 1 person that she was" approved for up to $3000", she was told her set was "sold ro someone else for cash " She was then told ,after signing papers for approval that she could look around for something else. When she found a couch for even less money that she had originally planned to spend, all of the sudden her set was miraculously "found". She then thanked them and set up a delivery date. About an hour later they found my bad review and called my daughter to ask about it. When she told them she didn't know what they were talking about, they hung up. My daughter asked me about the review and I told her yes I posted it. She was not happy and remove the review. Less than an hour after the removal, they called her again and said they couldn't sell her the furniture because the finance company had not approved the funds. Which was a lie! I was told Wednesday that she was approved, and she was told again today the same thing numerous times. So because of a bad review I posted this company punished my daughter! The attitudes are vengeful and hateful. My daughter will get better quality furniture from somewhere she can be treated with fairness and no lies. Don't write a bad review before you have your purchase in hand or you too will...

If I could leave a ZERO I would! This is the second time we have been to this location and had a bad experience. The salesperson was quick to give us her card to get that commission but when we asked questions that were an over her pay grade WE had to go ask. We wanted to take a floor model piece of furniture to see if it fit in our vehicle before we purchased and they were concerned that we would run off with it ($120 chair). We offered them to hold the keys to the vehicle and a form of payment. The manager Robby said that he was also concerned that we would get the piece dirty while attempting to put in vehicle. This is the same “floor model” that people are free to sit on that already had wear and tear that we were willing to purchase. Shame on you guys. That $120 sale could have given you some repeat business but now… We will never be back and will certainly not recommend.

I highly recommend Furniture World Wharehouse. Make sure you ask for Mrs. Jamie! You will be highly satisfied. We bought a new couch, loveseat, and recliner. Marquis and Chris delivered our furniture yesterday Wednesday Oct 1. They were very respectful, asked where I would like it to go. They brought it in. Set it up made sure all the recliners worked. Asked me to make sure it looked good. Had me to make sure it was damaged. I highly recommend Furniture World for any type of furniture you need for your house, apartment, and etc.
