The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the delivery guys were terrific. They deserve raises. The reason for the 1 star review is the sales Woman. We were there on 9/9/25, around noon. My husband was 2 week post op from major back surgery, there was not a chair or couch in our home that he could get comfortable in, including the recliners we'd purchased from FWDW 3 yrs earlier, his mobility was limited. We were approached as soon as we entered by a middle aged blonde Woman & asked if we needed help, I said we need to look at all the Wallhugger reclining sofas, her answer was "I'm not sure which ones are, you'll have to test them & see". And so we did, for over an hour. She came over once & asked if we had any questions & I answered honestly "If we do we'll figure out the answer ourselves" because that's what she'd told us to do. When my husband had made his final choice, I went looking for ANY other salesperson, while i was looking around I passed her & she asked again if she could help & I really really wanted to say No Thank You but they're just wasn't anyone else around so I said Sure & walked in the direction we needed to go when she made the mistake of passive aggressively asking "Did I do something to annoy you?" First, she knew she had or she wouldn't have asked, she didn't expect my honest reply highlighting her awful service to us from the get-go. I reminded her that instead of telling us to "figure it ourselves" she should have offered to look it up & then SHOW us what we were looking for. Then she argued & back pedaled as I was walking away again until I turned & looked her in the eye & said "enough". As a small business owner in Lauderdale county in the service industry who has several full time employees, I'd fire any one of them ON THE SPOT if I heard them talk to a customer that way or not offer to do ANYTHING to assist them. If we could have just left & looked at any of the multiple other furniture stores, we would have., but my husband just couldn't do that much walking again, he was in pain. If I could have given ANY other salesperson the credit for our purchase, I would have. As it was, we were over a barrel. Then it was removed because of the "misunderstanding." Now as punishment for a bad review that I posted, my daughter can't buy furniture from here as punishment for a bad review. They said they don't jerk people around but it sure sounds like that's what they are doing! After being told 5 times from more than 1 person that she was" approved for up to $3000", she was told her set was "sold ro someone else for cash " She was then told ,after signing papers for approval that she could look around for something else. When she found a couch for even less money that she had originally planned to spend, all of the sudden her set was miraculously "found". She then thanked them and set up a delivery date. About an hour later they found my bad review and called my daughter to ask about it. When she told them she didn't know what they were talking about, they hung up. My daughter asked me about the review and I told her yes I posted it. She was not happy and remove the review. Less than an hour after the removal, they called her again and said they couldn't sell her the furniture because the finance company had not approved the funds. Which was a lie! I was told Wednesday that she was approved, and she was told again today the same thing numerous times. So because of a bad review I posted this company punished my daughter! The attitudes are vengeful and hateful. My daughter will get better quality furniture from somewhere she can be treated with fairness and no lies.
