I had planned a vacation for a year with my 11 yr. old graddughter. We were coming to stay at aranch to ride horses, fly fish and visit the national parks. Our plane was late leaving Nashivlle and we needed to connect in Chicago. We were rushing to catch the connecting flight and I fell. My brain said I was fine so I thought I'll take a couple asprin and lay down when I get to Wyoming. The connecting flight I was in excruciating pain. When we landed I was sweating and couldnt move my arm. To get to the point I called my daughter she insisted I see if someone could take my vitals. Mitch and Eric came to the rescue. They treated me with respect, caring even helping follow thru getting the rental car. They pulled it around loaded our suitcases and even called a head to the ER. My 11 yr old had to put car in gear. Natalie at Enterprise even offered to drive me to the ER. But I was still in denial. I got to ER and my right shoulder was broken. Hence why it has taken me so long to write this review. Read moreThe rep DANIEL, has the worst customer service I've experienced in a very long time. She shouldn't be in charge. I was 3 minutes past checking my bag. She wouldn't make an exception and take my bag to the plane of this very small airport. Said they were very busy. She was rude, disrespectful and caused me to have to rebook my flight. My plane wasn't even on the ground yet. When I got to the gate to wait for my next flight, the employees commented on how many ground crew they had today. I looked and right in front of me were 4 of them just standing around chatting. They couldn't load a bag? Later in the terminal I heard Daniel telling other employees about another person on a United flight who was a mom traveling with a child and was laughing about that customer and the issue she had. I have pictures if Jackson Hole airport would like to contact me. No employer should have such a rude person working for them. The beauty of the airport and the size should make this an outstanding experience but DANIEL, made my experience question if I want to ...
Read moreWhen you first step out of the airplane here, and walk down the stairs onto the tarmac, you'll be struck speechless by the proximity and scale of the Tetons. JAC is the only airport the only commercial airport within a national park in the United States, and flying in (or out) here is unlike landing anywhere else in the country. The views are breathtaking. It's a stunning and awe-inspiring first look at the mountains and the valley, and it's easy to forget for a moment you're in a plane, or at an airport.
Inside, the airport is welcoming and easy to navigate. There is comfortable seating in the public waiting area, and staff are friendly polite. Though Jackson Hole is a retional airport, it services large jets with flights from Denver, Salt Lake City, and Houston efficiently with minimal delays and easily handles the flow of traffic to and from the national parks and ski areas.
If I can, I'll fly here again. It's...
