Arrived early & got through TSA in record time so stopped by for breakfast before our flight. Servers were very efficient and friendly. The place was clean, with a nice atmosphere, and there was ample comfortable seating with phone charging ports.
The little convenience store was stocked with a large variety of snacks and drinks, and the self-serve checkout was very convenient, allowing me to stock up on snacks for our layover.
We ordered one meal to split from the menu. It was the daily special - a ham and bacon bagel with fries, plus a specialty coffee. And MAN WAS IT GOOD!!! Those were some of the best fries I've ever gotten at any restaurant. And the bacon was perfectly crisp, and they got a good char on the ham as well. The sauce that came on it was tasty, and the bagel was nicely toasted. My ham-hating husband ate half the sandwich & agreed it was very good (confession: I told him the ham was Canadian bacon :D ) The brown sugar iced coffee was quite sweet, but good.
Very much appreciate this place giving us the opportunity to relax with a great meal before a LONG day of...
Read moreI'd like to say it was good. It wasn't. My husband and I both ordered burgers. I ordered a burger with bacon and cheddar cheese on a gluten free bun, which I paid extra for, and he ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger with pepperjack and a regular bun. When they arrived, my burger was drowned in bbq sauce and his burger had no bacon or bbq on it. We asked for it to be fixed, and they brought the burgers back but had clearly just taken the meat and cheese part off of my plate and replaced it. There was still BBQ sauce all over my plate! The gluten free bun had clearly come straight out of the refrigerator and was cold, hard as a rock, and inedible. I didn't bother with the top half after tasting it, and the bottom disintegrated into a mushy pile of grease under my burger, which still did not escape the BBQ sauce they had left all over my plate. I've had bad airport food, but this is tragic. I wouldn't have bothered with the bun if I'd known it would go straight from the cooler to my plate. I'm in the food industry: guys step up your game. This is how you're representing Jackson to everyone who flies...
Read moreLook, I am normally a pescatarian. However, when in Wyoming, there are times one must deviate from their values. My whole trip in Jackson, I was craving a burger. Somehow, it didn’t happen. I arrived at the airport filled with melancholy, grieving the loss of the burger of my dreams. My last chance was the airport itself. Little did I know I needed not mourn. There was a burger on the menu at the sole restaurant in the Jackson airport - Jedidiah’s Kitchen. I will admit I wasn’t expecting much, having eaten mediocre airport food all over the world. But this - this was probably the best burger I’ve ever had. They use local beef, and I could tell. It tasted so fresh, so delicious. I’ve never tasted a burger like that, and I’ve had a fair share - I was not always a pescatarian. The fries were also perfectly spiced and perfectly crispy. Yes, it was a bit expensive, but that’s airport food for you. Anyway, I’m satisfied and am leaving...
