Winn-dixie is a very good grocery store, donât get me wrong. But the chicken wings were a very big let down. Usually the chicken wings are my favorite. Me and my grandma get them for my family. First, me and my grandma were going to wait until we were done shopping so when we got home they could still be warm. So we get done with shopping, we went to the chicken section in the deli to find everything empty. The lady tells me she has no one to close so she has put them in a bin divided and where the rotisserie chicken was. I wasnât too mad about this; just that she didnât divide the chicken evenly so everybody can get some of each. Then, she told us that the boneless wings were paired with the roasted ones. I was bummed but itâs better than nothing. We get home and iâm so excited to eat them, until we find out that she did not pair them with roasted chicken wings, she in fact paired them with heavily seasoned lemon pepper wings. If you wiped all of the seasonings off, you would have at least a good handful of seasoning. Disgusting. Then we tried to eat them , they were just too salty. We tried to eat the boneless wings but they were all bread and no chicken. And if they was chicken it would be extremely dry. Get-stuck-in-your-throat type dry. Extremely disappointed, but i will still have high hopes...
Read moreI decided to go here one afternoon to really try to give this place another try. I really donât shop there because the store is well depressing and just not that great. I went in there with a positive attitude, hoping that the store and everything inside had changed over several months and that things were just in better order all the way around, but I was disappointed.
I was especially disappointed with the meat department. All of the meat there from the pork to the beef to the chicken looks absolutely disgusting. There are really no grocery clerks on the sales floor or in their departments out and about to provide you any sort of customer service. Thereâs just kind of an overall weird feeling in the store and the place was really kind of a ghost town.
I shouldâve stuck with my gut and not went there at all and stuck with the two places that provide the best products and the best customer service and that is first and foremost, Publix Grocery store for absolutely everything, and Walmart for almost everything.
Iâm not sure if the employees there just really donât care and theyâre just going through the motions or what but I was just highly disappointed at the...
Read moreI'd previously left a 4-star review, based on the logical and easy-to-navigate layout of this store, but my recent experiences at this location have changed my mind about the rating it deserves.
I'm tired of having to navigate around employees who are just standing around talking--either to other employees or shoppers. It's bad enough when they're standing there stocking the shelves in a packed (with customers) store, but it's something else altogether when they're just standing there, in the way. They are rude and indifferent to the situation they are creating.
Today, the entrance to the produce department just inside the right-hand doors was completely blocked by a male employee, standing with his large stack of produce boxes on a flat bed cart, talking at length to another shopper. We had to go past them to get into the department and then picked up the few other items we needed throughout the store. We spent about 10-15 minutes shopping, yet when we got to the checkout line, they were STILL standing there talking. That means every customer through that door was forced to go around them in that time. That is completely...
