Dollar General — Local services in Jarratt

Cookie cutter just like every other Dollar General. What give this Dollar General a 2 star rating is that no matter what time of the day or day of the week that you enter this door there is always one or two aisles that are completely cluttered and inaccessible. Also I will not mention this employee by name but she I assume is a manager and or assistant manager because her micromanaging attitude emanates into the store like a small child in a movie theater, just very repulsive and angering and the way that she handles and also speaks to customers. I will not be returning to this Dollar General ever again due to her Period Point...

Vast improvement in the recent months in management and cleanliness of store appearance. Stocking and staffing. This current location would highly support a Super Dollar expansion. I've visited other Super dollar stores in Tn, this area in Jarratt, Va would benifit greatly from such expansion. Supported by non driving economy, a very large 3k prison employment industry as well. 20 miles from larger grocery stores. And rising need for local lower level employment training. With the economy fixing to change it would be greatly supported...

This store was absolutely filthy. Stopped in here because we needed something for and air bnb we were staying in. No one was wearing a mask, including someone behind the counter who appeared to be a manager. The shelves were dirty and many of the shelves weren't stocked. I know dollar generals typically aren't the cleanest stores in the world, but in the midst of a pandemic, it could be cared for a bit more.
