I took my vehicle to Owen Ford to have the locks replaced because it's a factory recall I was called two and a half hours later and told that I would have to pay $116 because it was not a factory recall I then took my papers and looked and yes it is still a factory recall and they want to charge me $116 after they have taken off the panel of the door they want to charge me $116 to put the panel back on without replacing it saying that it was not replaced because it was not a factory recall when definitely it was... The man in the back first name starting with the R, was very disrespectful you could see that he was angry mad upset his face was red and his eyes were rolling in his head like I did not know what I was talking about. when you take a vehicle somewhere to get worked on and they have to take parts off to see if that is in fact the correct part they have to put it back on and return it to you in the way that it was brought to them if not they are 100% wrong I will never deal with Owen Ford again they are shysters.!!!!
Well, you left off the door panel because I said I wasn't taking it back with out it in tack, the way I brought it to you. You told me I would have to pay $116 to put the door back together. So no I'm not paying it. I did have someone else fix the door. Yes I did order the part from you because I need that paper work to send to the warranty company. I talked to the warranty man for over a hour. And in fact is is a factory recall. He said it's alot of paper work for them to get the money from the recall. That will be dealt with. Also you didn't do me no favor. You refused to replace the vehicle door and return it to me the way I brought it to you. Ad then you told me the battery cables were a recall too. So I'm a bit confused... Also when he told me he had to pay the mechanic himself.... I didn't know your supervisor payed the mechanics. I believe that Mr. Owen pays you all who work for them. I'm not disrespecting Mr. Owen at all. I felt like because I was a women they could tell me anything and I would believe what he said. Well I don't need a man telling me nothing. I have the brocken piece and pictures of how my car was gave back to me.. a mess. Plus the part that had to be replaced was alot more work to get to. And that's why you didn't want to replace it.... My family has dealt with you for over 40 year's and baught hundreds of trucks cars from you. But I'm not putting my family name out there. But they will NEVER come back. Read moreWas talking to the sales rep all day about a specific vehicle. Informed them what time I would be there and when I was on the way. They said no problem it's still available. I get there and they are doing the paper work with another customer. I get they can't hold anything. I didn't ask them to. But the least the sales rep I was speaking to could have at least informed me they had someone there interested. After knowing I drove an hour and a half to get there. Very disappointed in there service. Definitely taking my money elsewhere. Their loss. Would NOT recommend
Update to the previous review. They called me back the next morning saying the vehicle was still available just to call me a couple hours later to say they are just no longer selling the vehicle at all. Then try to get me to look at other cars. They actually have one im interested in and schedule a time to see it. However they would never tell me a price on the vehicle. So a few days pass and I get my wife to contact the dealership about the SAME EXACT car. And they tell her a price of $19,500. So I get to my appointment today go through all the credit checks and they come to me with a price of almost $25,000. I've found multiple cars IN THE SAME EXACT condition for less than 19k. So i called them out on it and After promising to work with me and getting me all the way back out there They say they are firm at the $25k. My money is definitely going elsewhere. Read moreWe were on our way back from Florida to upstate New York when we broke down in Virginia. I called Owen Ford for a tow, they then intern, called a towing company to come and get me. This towing company not only told my truck, but also my camper that was on the fifth wheel at the time. they got me right in to service and did a diagnostics and found out. It was the crankshaft position sensor that was bad. I was thinking that it was a lot more wrong with the truck than that. By the time they discovered the problem, it was getting close to closing time. However, they called in the order so they would have it first thing Monday AM. At 8:15 in the morning they started on the truck and had it done by 10 o’clock. They took it out for a ride to test it and all came back positive. We were on the road by 11:15 and no problems whatsoever after that all the way home. They were super terrific and Russell was the best and we did call and let him know that we did make it home. We were also grateful that the technician he used on our truck was a master mechanic for diesels. Our appreciation for he the techs as well. We are truly grateful that we chose Owen to proceed...
