Jasper Mini Mall — Local services in Jasper

So at 4:18 pm I asked the nice young lady behind the front counter about the sale ad sitting next to the register. I already had a chunk of watermelon and a pop there to purchase, and she told me to "go ahead" when I told her "I'll be right back, for that price, I'm going to go grab a bag of your grapes too", Because the sale flyer she saw me holding said they were $1.69 per pound. Great deal right? On my way back to the cooler of grapes, another employee (another "not so much young" employee) was grumbling about and I asked if I should check out back there because it looked like the grocery store register as opposed to the gas station, and I tell you what....if I had an employee who appeared as sour and rude and spoke with such disgust in her voice...well you know what I'd do. But then I shopped around a bit more and almost got some meat from them. I used the restroom and when I got to front counter the rude crow was working that til. So, she didn't greet me again, gave the absolute opposite of a smile, took forever to weigh my grapes, and when I asked her how many pounds of grapes I had picked, she said she didn't know, she just remembers the price. So I say "well what's the price and I'll divide it by $1.69?"...she said "that SALE just ended!" Really?! I didn't even mention that the real reason I went back to shop some more was on account of the price the other girl had just said was right, I was still holding the ad in my hand from asking, AND if she wouldn't have been so dang unapproachable I might have stepped up to the counter sooner but since she rang someone else up from behind me first and then didn't make eye contact with me, I stood there thinking that line cutter customer was off...I don't know...maybe getting some grapes herself so I politely just stood there and waited. IF YOU DON'T LJKE YOUR JOB FIND ANOTHER ONE, BECAUSE I WILL TAKE YOURS LADY! And BTW...I'm almost positive that her bosses would've rather had all those grapes, that pop, the watermelon, and anything else I might have grabbed las minute, you know...GONE! And money in tbe register to pay YOUR wages than to lose brand new customer who was hungry, thirsty, and who gives a hoot about the way people treat one another. Man! I mean this lady was miserable to be around and offered THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER SEEN. Hands down. Owners....im sorry if this was your mother and I'm really sad that I'm now in Sioux falls paying someone else for their smiles. And...

New ownership under Marathon has questionable gas quality. Two different vehicles were not running good immediately after fueling up here. Owner was not concerned. Be careful not to get poor quality gas. Possibly water leaking...

Decent for what it is. Convenient only cause there's no where else in jasper but the prices are a bit high... friendly...
