Started off as a very casual experience, was picking up items for someone else, but was early, so I browsed. Found 2 items off the shelf, went to pay cash, and was asked for name and phone number for computer system. Jokingly replied "Donald Trump" explained i get enough spam, didnt want more, didnt want to be in anyone else's computer. Finished transaction. Was outside getting ready to load 2 dear blinds, when store owner starts berating my friend. BTW, my friend is in his 80s, 34 year Navy vet, and I'm retired Air Force. He "informs" us that we are "required" to provide that information, and threw us off the property. We left without picking up the deer blinds(funny enough, never asked for the right name to pick up the several thousand dollars of merchandise we were scheduled to deliver, only upset that i ridnt want to be inbhis system) Owner even tried to prevent me (physically) from retrieving my own tools, (since we had to disassemble the stands ourselves), in order to transport them. Very nice people and knowledgeable about their products, they are helpful over the phone. Nice selection of both long guns and hand guns. They are even surprisingly well stocked on ammunition compared to other stores in the southeast. This is not to say that anything you want is available but the shelves are not bare. There is also a good selection of all types of hunting and camping supplies. I could have entertained myself for a while looking at the newest types of hunting blinds or tree stands. I went there this morning looking for some ammo that their website said they had in stock. After checking with them, I found out that no they did not have any in stock, and that I, "shouldn't trust the website". To be fair, they did try to give me a deal on ammo they had, but it was twice as expensive. Seems like every time I go there to spend money, I walk out with it still in my pocket.
