Currently working here as an assistant cook to the head cook who is just absolutely amazing.I was invited to come here 2 weeks ago and jumped on the chance,I could not recommend a camp for girls more then this one,the councilors love their kids like they are their own,they are all very welcoming,even the kids are.it has been such a pleasure to be here, honestly I am hoping and looking forward to coming back for next summer.the location is beautiful,if my daughter was younger and wanted to go to camp this is where she would be.I advise to schedule a meeting with the woman who runs the camp,her name is Peggy.such a wonderful person with a great attitude and who loves the camp and campers more then anyone else.this place will blow you away with the family feel,the food is all made from scratch,easy to get to location,safe, friendly,lots of fun...

From home cooked meals eaten family-style, to camp outs and sleeping under stars, everything experience is filled with authentic fun! Nyoda’s mission statement is “where girls like who they are” and this is reflected in every aspect of camp. Differences are not only accepted but celebrated. There’s something for everyone here and I am just lucky enough to have so many amazing memories from my 15 summers there. Can’t wait to have a daughter to send here!
