Schnur's Country Market — Local services in Jefferson Township

I finally broke down and stopped in this store. It was one of the best decisions of my life. You would think a "little country market" would have astronomical prices. WRONG! The prices here are lower than any store I've been to, and there are no fillers or additives. Their luncheon meat was cheaper than large food chain's sale prices. They have great meat packages that give you an even bigger bargain. The people there are amazingly friendly and helpful. They even have buffalo meat...lol Wonderful cheeses/meat sticks etc for holiday platters. My mind was racing with things I could come here for. I will never go...

I have been going here for years. We usually buy a side of beef. The first side was outstanding. But each side after, was of lesser quality. This last side was terrable. How do you get 2 stakes out of the same package and have one marbelized and tender and the other tuff, grissely and full of fat. Not the same cow. Some of the worst beef I have had anywhere. Joyce - is wonderful! Great place - my wife and I usually purchase a chicken package - great quality - and we do not eat pork often but the smoked pork chops are amazing! For myself and wife - we would rather take our business to such a wonderful family oriented place instead of spending our money for proteins at a big chain store. Highly recommend checking this place out. And the prices are very reasonable for the products...
