I would not recommend! This company did my mitigation work a month ago. The team that did the actual mitigation work was very prompt and professional, and I anticipated a great experience. However, things quickly turned sour once the mitigation was completed, as my project manager (Thomas Nichols) has caused this experience to be an absolute NIGHTMARE. For several weeks, I have called and communicated to him that my insurance company needs the report from their work so that I can proceed with the rebuilding process, and Thomas has failed to produce said report. Instead, he has lied about being in meetings, lied about calling me back, lied about submitting it (to me), lied to my insurance adjuster, made a plethora of empty promises(it will be submitted by___ā€, ā€œI will call back after this meetingā€, ā€œI’m working on something for my bossā€,etc). He never follows through with these communications. I’ve had to reach out to him by phone and text MULTIPLE TIMES during the past three weeks and my insurance adjuster has also. (And he also misled him). Look at the photos. Our home has been left undone for THREE WEEKS because we are waiting for Thomas to do his job, but what is most disappointing is his dishonesty. If he would just be honest, I could proceed accordingly. I am extremely disappointed. This has caused serious disruption to our home. Dealing with this has been emotionally draining.

Recent storms resulted in an unexpected water leak near our back door. It was our first insurance claim we were contacted by Hector from Roadrunner Restorations. It was late in the evening and he made the trip to check out the situation and we were grateful for his professionalism, expertise, and promptness. Through some miscommunication with the insurance and other companies they did not do the demolition work but were responsible for the reconstruction of the wall and painting the affected room. Hector maintained excellent communication and responded within a reasonable amount of time the whole time. Within a week they came back out and Danny and his restoration team did an amazing job. They were efficient, conscientious of our home and property, respectful, and did a great job. We were very pleased with the results and if the need ever arises again for such repairs we will be reaching back out to them to give them our business.

The initial response for water remediation was great. There was a crew out quickly and the house was dried out properly. Everything else was terrible. I made a huge mistake in hiring them for the rebuild. When they did my pack out they stacked boxes poorly and they ended up falling and crushing the lower boxes. They don't follow proper covid safety protocols, especially in making sure their sub contractors wear masks. The work was schedule to take 4 week, but took over 3 months. I had to get the construction manager to come to my house before they got serious about completing the job. Almost everything they touched had to be redone, and they showed blatant disrespect for my property. The picture of the bookshelf shows how they tried to just paint around a bookcase instead of moving it to paint the whole wall. Like I wouldn't check!

I had severe water damage resulting from a break in my AC condensation pipes and the runoff that had into my bathroom drainage system. Clint and his team did a great job in telling me what to expect in terms of drying up the water and humidity on 2 floors and then showing me their estimate on repairs and then performing the repairs themselves. Clint's team members were courteous and did a great job every day cleaning after themselves. Each step along the way, they told me first what to expect and then they lived up to their estimates. When I wanted to make adjustments such as changing the plans for replacing the carpets with hardwood floors, they were very happy to make the adjustment and leave the areas ready for the floor contractor to come in to do his work. We found an additional leak due to a small roof problem, and Clint was able to find a roof repair guy who fixed the problem the next day at a reasonable price. Clint and his assistant did a very nice job on building a new vanity for one of my bathrooms, designing it according to what I told him that I wanted. When small items were identified requiring attention beyond their scope of work, they identified these for me and made recommendations on how to get them resolved. Clint and his team also made clear at the end of their work that if I identified anything that wasn't perfect, I could call them and they would take care of it. That happened once with a small caulking break and they had it fixed right away, even though they had to drive across town to get it. Also, I should point out that when they installed the vanity that they had built, Clint didn't feel that the fit was perfect, so he had the team work on it and they got it right. All in all, I think the areas they worked on ended up in great shape and I would highly recommend Road Runner Restoration to anybody in need of their expertise. One more thing -- all this happened while RRR was handling projects a couple of hundred of miles away (residual Hurricane Harvey projects) and at the same time that another hurricane was ripping through North Carolina. RRR had projects there too. But they never cut corners to finish my project so they could move on to others. I always felt they were giving me priority attention. So thanks to Clint and the team. You guys...

If I could give negative stars, I would. Roadrunner Restoration (RR) was recommended by my insurance company to handle water damage remediation and repair. I can confidently say this has been one of the worst contractor experiences of my life.

From fraudulent billing practices and unacceptably poor workmanship, to excessive delays and sloppy outsourced labor (who left my home a mess), the problems never stopped. Months after the project ended, RR even had the nerve to call asking for more money—despite failing to correct the original problem.

In fact, they caused more damage than they fixed. It’s been nearly two years, and I’m still paying out of pocket for electricians, contractors, and specialists to correct the costly mistakes and damage RR left behind.

Perhaps most disturbing is what feels like a coordinated scam between RR, the insurance company, and an asbestos company they brought in. After years of renovations with many reputable contractors, I’ve never once been told I had asbestos—until RR showed up. Looking at other reviews, this seems to be a recurring tactic. What a grift.

This company is engaging in deceptive trade practices, and they should be held accountable—not just for the shoddy work, but for the stress and financial burden they’ve caused. I’m reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and plan to post this review on every platform possible.

Avoid Roadrunner Restoration at all costs. Save yourself the money, time, and massive headache...

NO, YOUR COMPANY Caused Our Distress!

If your home insurance company puts this company in charge of Anything you consider valuable, sentimental, worth saving or in need of restoration - RUN. RUN FAST and Demand that your insurance company hire another company IMMEDIATELY!

These people will NOT "Restore" anything. They destroy Everything that you consider important, dear to your heart and irreplaceable - without hesitation, explanation, accountability or apology.

They will lie and railroad you into making crucial decisions about your belongings and memories - UNDER THREAT of leaving You, the insured, with the Liability AND the FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY of handling the details and costs for the DISPOSAL of HAZARDOUS MATERIALS, in our case a home full of ASBESTOS contaminated belongings.

We thought the nightmare was getting under control but when Roadrunner Restoration hit the scene a Brand New Hell began, and it began with Brandi.

We have lost our most precious and sentimental possessions - precious artwork and sentimental items saved for 25 years to be given to my son, videos and photos of his life, treasures handed down for FIVE GENERATIONS which will now never see their sixth, sentimental and valuable artwork, jewelry - both familial and that collected from my travels across the world over the past 50+ years - GONE.

The pain, absolute Agony to be honest, that this company, with Brandi leading the charge, has caused is and continues to be excruciating and...
