Oh my, I would call this more like a magical home away from home before I would call it a "store", because of how amazingly kind, caring and welcoming the beautiful owner Candice is!!! The first time we ever went into Gems and Whims WE WERE IN AWE!!! So much to look at, so many BEAUTIFUL THINGS/ART! I had my daughter (who is 11years) with me and OH MY how she fell IN LOVE AT 1ST SIGHT with Candice's little co-owners! Those sweet whittle furry, little four legged baby's of hers are the most adorable puppy's my daughter had ever seen! (Using my daughters words, and yes, I too agree)☺️She allowed my daughter to come behind the desk and pet them, she was so helpful to my needs that day!!! I simply wanted a pair of earrings changed from pierced to clip-ons. When I took them in, I was promised next day pickup. My husband went to pickup for me at owners designated time and again they were not ready. Truly didn't mind the wait BUT DID MIND THE FACT THAT THE EARRINGS WERE SILVER AND CANDICE HAD PUT GOLD CLIPS ON THEM WHEN THEY WERE FINALLY "READY". I have been shopping at Gems & Whims for several years now and have never been disappointed. Their handmade jewelry is stunning. If you have ever handmade a piece with high quality gems and metal, it cost a little more, but you get what you pay for. I personally don't want to wear something that's going to turn me green.
