Cranberries — Restaurant in Johnson City

Sad to write this review but very disappointed in the new ownership. We had a large group of women for a birthday lunch. One of our ladies ordered a salad and mind you this is almost a $10 salad. She wanted the one that came with pumpkin seeds and feta cheese. When her salad came, it was not the right salad and she very nicely told the young lady. Well unfortunately this young lady needs to brush up on her Customer service skills cause she was very rude and dismissive. I took the salad up to the owner and explained the situation and she said there was nothing that they could do about it. I asked again—- can’t you just bring her out some feta cheese and some pumpkin seeds to put on her very plain lettuce and tomato salad. She refused. You handled that so poorly! Was it really going to kill you to bring out a small cup with feta and pumpkin seeds in it to give her the right salad? We won’t be back but I guess you...

Today was my first time trying Cranberries out and when I tell you it was more than just food, I'm not lying! I was having a bad day and the rain wasn't helping my gloomy mood. The woman at the counter, who I presume is the owner or one of them, was too kind (and that's an understatement). I tried the house-made lavender lemonade with sweet tea and it's probably my go to from now on. Got the bowl of soup beans and cornbread, because comfort food never disappoints... and theirs did not! While sitting eating my food I couldn't help but look at the desserts on the windows, so obviously I needed to get one to-go. I went with the homemade fruit pizza cookie. This cookie is as big as my head, no joke! Not only is it huge but it taste amazing! I can't wait to go back again soon!

The service is brilliant with friendly employees. The broccoli cheddar soup is to die for and so is the quiche. My favorites are the 4 cheese quiche and the occasional quiche of the day, pizza quiche. The crust crumbles in your mouth and the egg part has the texture of how I would imagine a cloud. The Tea is also good. My favorite is the peach. They give you a whole pitcher to refill your cup whenever you want. The decorations are beautiful and the things on the plate make me feel fancy and like I am in a quaint village. This is one of my favorite restraunts and no matter when I go I leave with a smile on my face. If you are coming throught this is a must try and I pity those who don't...
